While putting it together was not that hard, even though the the instructions are not clear, the velco. Straps, that go around the console were way too short.We’ll have to have someone put extensions on

lacks padding in the base
The console cushion itself is nice, with decent padding around the perimeter from the memory foam used. However, they failed to add any memory foam to the base and the “bed” insert feels like it’s a soft plush blanket with no padding, so how soft this ends up being depends on how soft your center console is and how much cushioning you add to the base yourself, which is disappointing.Another issue I’m encountering is that after 5 days or so, there’s still a very pronounced V Shape to the memory foam, right in the middle of the “back” , so it’s pretty obvious. I thought giving it more time would help, but at this point I’m at a loss. It’s been mid 80s here every day since it arrived, so I don’t think the usual hair dryer trick will do much, either.I wanted to love this, since the size is perfect for my petite 8lb cat (def too small for my 14+lb cats!), but I’m disappointed with it.If they added better padding to the base, that would make up for a lot, including the funky V where it should be curved!

Furbaby car seat
Great car seat for small dog/cat. Very durable, soft, easy to use. Only thing I wish the Velcro straps were just a bit longer to fit on my truckâs console arm rest. I didnât think my Shih Tzu would stay in it but she does and seems to like it. Even has a small lead to clip to collar just in case she tryâs to escape. I use to have to hold her in my lap while riding now she has her own seat.

Doggie Car Seat
I really like this doggy center console car seat. However, you will have to figure the directions yourself as the assembly instructions are not clear. The car seat itself is a little bigger and thicker than I anticipated and feel it might be a little too big between the seats for my smaller SUV. However, I am going to keep it because even if it is too big for in between the two seats I plan to use it on the floor of the car when we are on road trips and our dog does not want to sit on someone’s lap. The material is a good thickness of foam around the outside. The bottom is a little thinner than I would like and the mat that goes inside is thinner but I plan to put a small towel or baby blanket underneath the mat that my dog would lie on. Other than the bottom being thinner than expected I still think the item itself is quality.
