Definitely keeps my Dog safe
I use this mainly in the summer when I drive my Jeep with doors and roof off. I feel secure knowing it keeps my dog in his place and he won’t roll out or jump out. He’s pretty well behaved but you never know. It is very sturdy and I trust it will keep him secure. It is long enough so that he has room to get up and walk to the other side of the backseat with no issues and he does not get tangled up in the cord. He cannot jump in the back. For reference I have a 2.5 year old 80 lb Husky Boy. Highly recommend!

With use of a harness not a collar!
It’s my dogs personalized swat belt! Easily attached this to my existing seat belt strap, then onto my dogs harness, instant protection against him being tossed about by a sudden stop. That said, I wouldn’t advise using this with a dog collar as said sudden stop might well result in neck damage, a chocking incident or worse. But used with a harness, it works beautifully.

I have bought this product multiple times for myself. It has been highly recommended to family and friends as well. It is extremely easy to install. There is enough length to allow the dogs sit our lay down in the cargo space or bench seat of any vehicle. It is chew resistant.

Sturdy harness for back of SUV transport
This works well attached to the recessed wall hooks in the back of my suv. The length is good to allow my dog to sit, stand or lay down, but short enough to keep him on one side of the vehicle (so cooler/bags/etc can be transported on the other side). Heâs a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde personality on car rides, going from chill to crazy-train and back to chill, depending on the scenery (and if a motorcycle is in view). This leash keeps him safe and secure in the back of the vehicle, even when he pulls and lunges at the 2-wheeled noise machines.

Leash Boss dog seat belt restraint
Fairly easy to set up and use. Can’t say it has been tested in a crash. However, the restraint has been used in two vehicles, once on a week-long trip and is well tolerated by my 25 pound dog. The spring-loaded clip that attaches to the restraint dog vest could have a larger inside diameter. The small inside clip size makes it difficult to cram the webbing ‘tail’ of the vest completely inside the clip. Overall, I believe the choices I made are the most functional available. The short leash boss restraint lead is the most practical, avoiding issues with a dog destroying a seat belt webbing or the restraint itself. I chose a short length to avoid the dog leaving the seat in a crash (watch the crash test dummy YouTube videos to see why this is important), and this short lead has worked very well in that regard, without causing the dog to fret and pull at the restraint. Oddly well tolerated (can’t predict this would be the case for every dog).

Save your dog
I see people every day driving with their dog roaming around the back and front seat of their vehicle. Folks, if you have an accident, your dog may not survive unless it is ‘buckled’ in. This device is so easy to use. It clips onto the metal ring that a child seat clips onto (stick your hand down in between the back and seat) then you clip it onto your dog’s collar or harness. This keeps them from flying off the seat should you have to stop fast or worse, jumping out the window of your vehicle while it is moving. My 50 lb. lab/pit mix doesn’t mind being buckled in….she can still put her head out the window or sit in the middle of the back seat and look out the front. It is basically indestructible.

This vehicle restraint cable works very well to keep our cavapoo limited on where she can reach in the car and keeps her safer if we have to stop quickly. She does not get tangled in it at all. We got the 26â and it works perfectly. She is about 30 pounds.
