Seems to work well
We bought this because our dog has a harness that hooks to the seatbelt, but because he kept stepping around, he would often release the seatbelt. So far, when using this, he hasn’t released the seatbelt. I don’t know how chew proof it is, as he hasn’t yet tried to eat it (knock on wood that he doesn’t try!).

A Helpful Tool to Keep Naughty Pups Safe
My 40 pound puppy quickly learned how to unbuckle herself so I purchased this buckle cover. At first she was frustrated by her attempt to escape being foiled and chewed it a little bit but it only was lightly damaged and is still 100% functional. Now that shes learned that chewing it does nothing she leaves it alone. Removing it is a little bothersome (kind of the point to secure our smart dogs), so I leave it attached with the her seat belt in 24/7.

Sturdy product that is well designed.
Great for a chewy dog when training in the car. Itâs obviously not completely chew proof but when it is worn you can always replace it although that should not take long. Easy to install, just make sure the buckle is on the correct side. After removing the adhesive dot, squeeze the ends to open it and slide it over your buckle. All the Kurgo products I bought have been high quality and well thought out. From an engineer, they really do have a superior product.

My lab was constantly unbuckling himself on our drives before we got this super simple device. He remained buckled for our entire road trip! This will be perfect until I get my dog mom car and their car kennels!

Garbage – Don’t spend your money!
Please don’t spend your money on this seatbelt button cover! It is a hard plastic, not silicone..my dog chewed through it immediately..im better off putting literally anything else in its place. It slides off the seatbealt button way too easily to actually prevent the dog from unlatching the seatbelt. What a waste of plastic, time, and money!

bright colour makes it hard to get lost in the car. the slot for finger helps since I’m using it for a dog and sometimes it’s too tangled to unclip them from the carabiner end at the harness so I need to unbuckle instead. The child safe ones require a key or tool to press the release button, and if you’re like me, that means going to rummage up front for something while the dog is excited and tries to get out while tangled up.
