These work great to prevent my dog from sliding around on our wood floors. Now if he would just get used to putting them on, lol. He walks like a horse in them but I know that will stop eventually.

Stay on very well. BUT VELCRO already BROKE on one of the socks after a couple of weeks of wearing.
These socks are the best I have tried so far. They stay on very well because of the velcro that is attached to the socks with a snap. You can remove the velcro, but I don’t know why you would do that because they will not stay on then.HOWEVER, I did not give 5 stars because the velcro on the one of the socks has already broken after a couple of weeks of use.This is a pain because I will need to return the entire set just to replace one broken one. Returning items is always time consuming and kind of a pain in the rump (not to mention ecologically unsound). Plus my dog will be without her socks for a while now!

Excellent for covering and interdigital cyst on my old lady dog
I had to order the large to fit over her interdigital cyst. Two vets have said they won’t remove it or they have to remove the whole foot. So we just give her palliative care we cover it with lanolin .

Good for little dogs under 25lbs
My dog is 46lbs and 1.5yrs old. She isnât a chewer, but her claws (nails cut and sanded smooth) cut right through the fabric. One sock already has a tear in it an hour after she put them on.Also, the fit was tight, yet when she sat her foot would slide on the sock and her legs would slip out again.Cute, but impractical.

Accurate sizing with good grips
My puppy slides a bit on our wood floors, he slipped trying the stairs, so now he’s a bit afraid of the stairs. We live in a house with lots of stairs in cold climate with lots of road salt as well. He’s been slowly acclimating to shoes, but we thought socks might help with him adjusting to shoes more. Unfortunately, he’s just fully in his landshark era, and it’s harder to put a sock on than all his shoes. He’d probably eat them in .2 seconds since he’s not finished teething if we left them on. When he was distracted, he did have an easier time running about with the grips on just his back feet. They’re very cute socks though and probably much better fit for older dogs.

My senior almost 14 year old dog was slipping and sliding on the wood floors. He is doing great with these socks. I bought size S/M. Heâs a ShihTzu who weighs about 20 pounds. I just bought another set for my other senior dog who is almost 16. I bought size S. Heâs a Maltese who weighs 9 pounds.
