I add the kelp powder to the top of my dogs’ meals. They love it! I think it’s made a difference in their coats (softer and silkier) and skin (less dry). Also, my oldest dog hasn’t been licking her paws.

Healthy addition to my dogs’ diet
I have 2 golden retrievers – one will eat anything and one is a picky eater. Kelp is rich in antioxidants and there have been studies that say it helps with tartar build up on teeth. I’ve been adding a scoop to my dogs’ dinner and they both seem to like it. I got the 4 oz to see if they like it, but going forward it’s much more economical to get the 16 oz via the “Subscribe and Save” program.

My girl loves the taste
I got this for my 19 year old Jack Russell. She has hypothyroidism and I didn’t want to pump her full of drugs. I did some reading and consulted an holistic vet and everything i read and the vet recommended a product like this. I know it will not be noticeable for a bit of time. But, I gave it to her immediately. I mixed it in with her pumpkin treat and she gobbled it right up. She does take another all natural type of treatment. But, I will do whatever I have to in order to keep my little girl with me a bit longer. I will update my review if she has any adverse effects or it doesn’t seem to be working. But, as far as eating it, she didn’t even hesitate.Update: 4 days into her eating this…she seems to have more energy and her belly isn’t as big as it was. She also seems to be going to the bathroom easier. Not runny. Normal but it seems easier. I know results will vary dog to dog. But, this is how this has helped my old girl.
