EXCELLENT but not for smart cats
The product itself is EXCELLENT! We love that it is an elevated food bowl too.Disclaimer for those of you who have a street cat turned house cat:First feeding: he figures it out, no problem, pushing a pocket was his paw or nuzzling it with his nose.Second feeding: he has figured out how to maximize his reward. He pushes the very end of the “food train” all the way around in one motion dispensing ALL the food from each pocket…Aaaaand now he’s meowing and looking at us like we never fed him, all because he’s a smart fatty who ate too fast… again.

Fun for cats and humans who love cats!
The game seemed real complicated but in reality easy to prep for fun. I have four cats and they love it because being bored is not safe! (They open doors, climb in cupboards, etc! ). So this is wonderful and cats quickly understand how to play!

My cat loves it!
I thought it would take a long time for my cat to Learn to use it.She learned it right away. Make sure your cat is hungry when you try to introduce it to her.Use semi soft food to make it easier for her to eat it and easier for you to clean.

My kitten didnât play with it
I got this to keep my kitten entertained and eat slower. It was pretty easy to assemble and put food in the toy; however, it didnât pique my kittenâs interest.

New favorite
My cat adores this puzzle. It didnât take him long to figure out how to use it, and now almost every day he asks/demands for his kibble to be given to him in this puzzle.I meant It comes apart, making it easy to clean which I love.My cat has a somewhat large collection of puzzles (I think this is the 8th?) and this one is by far his favorite the past couple weeks. Thatâs high praise since heâs normally like a toddler and gets bored with new toys in a day or so. But not this one. He adores it!I love that it makes him move and use his brain.April 24, 2023- Figured Iâd update now that itâs been a month since my last review. He still asks for this puzzle almost every day.The only con is that it can be tricky and time consuming to fill. But my cat loves it. He gets most of his kibble with it.He does solve it very quickly now, but even so, each time the food drops in to the center, he does an excited little wiggle, as if heâs so happy and proud of himself. In a couple months weâre planning on getting him one of the harder puzzles to see how he does.

Great toys
This is a really nice toy and my 6 year old 5lb Yorkshire loves it. This is great for people with small dogs. The lid is not snapped on and so easy to open it with the nose.

It works
It looks cool and my dog seems like to play with it a lot – indeed it takes some effort to get her food lol – it may improve pets â patience for sure.

Chloe played with it Once
I really was excited to get my cat this so she would be entertained and rewarded at same time. Unfortunately it didnât work out like that. She tried once and was not into it, i tried to encourage her to try again but sadly she turned me down. lol

This is a great toy if youâre trying to get your cat to exercise. The plastic toppers are pretty easy to push around and my cat got the hang of it within a couple hours. It definitely gets my cat exercising.

I appreciate that this toy is made from food grade plastic, which is nice since cats eat from it. Itâs entertaining and keeps them engaged initially, but they tend to lose interest fairly quickly. Good for short play sessions but not something theyâll stay interested in for long.

Easily fit 1/4cup of Science diet dental kibble. Comes with a funnel that would be helpful when used with smaller sized food. It wasn’t supper useful for my larger kibble because if I had more than a couple in the funnel they would clog the tip. And it was easy enough for me to put the kibble in myself. It’s easy to clean, there is a small divet in at one part of the inner rim that provides just enough space to pop the cups out. It was medium hard to get the cups off but it will get a bit easier with time and the pets won’t be able to get them off. Over definitely a good puzzle to start your pet’s off with. There is no way to increase the difficulty but I’d still keep it in rotation just to change things up even when the pets move on to harder puzzles

I’m still trying to get my cats interested in using this. They understand it but just can’t be bothered for various reasons. I put in their favorite treats and stopped giving them treats any other time to get them to use it. If I put their kibble in it they don’t care, they have access to kibble at all times due to their odd feeding schedule. So in my case, I do think it is just a lack of motivation of wanting to work for treats and mostly the fault of my own cats being a bit lazy of why it isn’t being used…but that is not the issue here. The other issue is the slope of the dispenser. when they do push it to release the treats, they basically sit right under the opening and it doesn’t slide to the center and they are left thinking nothing was released and I am thinking that is one major thing stopping them from continuing. The funnel makes it hard to fill up, it fits just over it and you’d have to feed the treats into it slowly or it just doesn’t move, I found doing it by hand quicker.Otherwise it is well build and would be pretty stimulating for cats, but I do find the slope issue a bit of a problem for our own treats (Temptations) to drop out for them to see. With a dog I think they would used their tongue or paw to get at it but a cat may just not care.If you cat is one that is still into playing and being stimulated and treat driven, I think it would be fun.

I have several of these puzzle feeders. I like them because they support the development of healthy eating habits, promote healthier digestion, and enhance intelligence and brain development. This one is suitable for both dogs and cats. Why I like this one:- Robustly built- Acts as a slow-feeding food dispenser- Suitable for dogs of all sizes and cats- Level 1 difficulty- Allows pets to access food and engage in independent play- Made of food-grade ABS- Does not contain bisphenol A, PVC, or phthalates- Easy to clean- Lifetime replacement guaranteeI mostly use these as slow feeders, so it’s good to have various types so they don’t get bored. This one is well made, and I recommend it.
