    Not for beginners
This slow feeder is great. The toy itself is a nice sturdy plastic. All the little cups are removable so you can really get in there and scrub it down. My puppy isn’t the brightest and couldn’t seem to figure it out. I keep showing her how to do it and she can’t grasp the concept. My bunny on the other hand is a master with these kind of toys. My bunny is putting my puppy to shame lol. This feeder in particular has a two step process. You put the kibble or treats in the small cups on top and they have to push them around the board until they fall into one of the 4 holes. Once the treat falls into one of the holes they have to open one of the 4 doors on the side to collect the treats. So it’s not a matter of just pushing something or pulling something and instant gratification. So this will either be a hit or miss depending on your pet. Luckily my bunny is a little brainiac this will now be a part of her weekly rotation of enrichment toys.

    It’s great…except
I see how a dog could use its brains to get the food, but my dog just pulls off the little parts to get the food. She is too smart for this I guess. Too bad because I like what it’s intended to do.

Fun! Keeps him busy for awhile.
KADTC Beginner Dog Puzzle Toy Mind Game Puppy Interactive Mental Stimulation Level 1 Games Puzzles Feeder Slow Dispenser for Small/Medium/Large Aggressive Chewers Breed. Works well! It took him most of the day to figure it out, completely (he’s the best boy in the whole world, but maybe not the sharpest knife in the drawer, lol), but it still gives him a thrill to work through it, every day since. The dog in the photo is his much sharper sister, who also enjoyed it, before he declared it off limits to her. I particularly like the grippy, black squares on the bottom. It stays in place on the slate floor. He’s an agressive chewer, but so far, it remains intact. The horn in the middle isn’t oversensitive, so it doesn’t drive you crazy. I’d love it more if it were a bit less expensive, but it is made very well, so you get what you pay for, I guess.

    Great enrichment feeder!
My dog (old English sheepdog) loves it when I bring this out and fill it up.The first couple times it took him a bit of time to figure out what he needed to do but he caught on pretty quickly. This is a fun way for him to exercise his mind while also feeding him slowly (otherwise he will just hog down his food. We sometimes break up treats and put them in the different sections or use some of his kibble. He’s happy either way! Both Morty (my dog) and my kids love beeping the horn in the middle so it’s fun for everyone! 😆Would recommend for your furry friend! 🐶

I don’t know if it’s just my dog..
I have an 8 month old German Shepherd. She broke it the first time using it.I loaded it up with kibble, thinking I was going to use it for enrichment and a slow feeder situation. She proved me wrong. There are these four chambers with a flip top lid. The lid has a little tab on it (if you would call it that), and even though I was watching her (and I’m still not 100% sure how she did it) she picked it up by the little tab and flung it against the fridge. She was successful in getting the kibble out and breaking a couple of the treat chambers. She pretty much did the same thing she does with snuffle mats. That’s why I gave it 3 stars.

Made well, my pets should figure it out eventually…
KADTC Dog Maze Puzzle Toy from United States Puppy Mind Games Brain Mental Stimulation Men…Giving this 5 stars even though my animals aren’t smart enough to figure it out yet, lol. The cats and dogs have played with it the last couple days and none have been able to figure out how to get the treats out yet. They can maneuver the little cups around and cause the treats to fall in the hole, but can’t figure out how to lift the little lids on the sides to retrieve the treats yet. I put in some treats that are good for cats and dogs that they seem to really love but still not enough to make them try hard enough to figure it out. I mainly got this to entertain them while I am at work. I figure they will eventually figure it out when they get bored enough. The pieces slide around easy enough and the lids are light enough and easy enough to lift, so I believe it’s well made for the job.Update: after we were back home from the holidays and it was just my jack-chi and cat, I filled it with their treats and left for work. On the 2nd day I got home from work, all the treats were gone. I’m happy they (they tend to tag-team everything) figured it out.

Pretty good, hard to fix for rough dogs though
My dog has a bunch of different puzzles from a variety of brands, and is happy working on ones from the easiest to the hardest levels, so I though this would be a fun medium challenge for him to figure out. He got the gist of it pretty quickly, so it took him about ten minutes to get all of the treats out. I would rank it as a medium challenge for a dog that’s used to puzzles. It’s pretty sturdy and easy to rinse out and clean, but the one downside is that if the doors pop off, they are not made to get clipped back on, and typically that part is broken forever. So if you have a dog that is pretty rough on the puzzle toys and likes to rip parts off, I would not recommend this. Overall it’s a pretty good value compared to some of the others I’ve tried though.

    Great enrichment toy!
I have three pitbulls, age ranging from 5 months to 8 years. They all love this toy! I hide their food, small treats, or cheese in the different compartments and they have to use their noses to move the pieces around to uncover the treats or be able to flip the lids on the “paw” parts. The middle also squeaks if you push on it, but they’ve not been able to figure that out yet. Depending on the smarts of your pup, it can keep them entertained anywhere from a couple of minutes to ten or more. It’s great for enrichment, but could also be used as a slow feeder, but you’d probably have to fill it a couple of times for a single meal to do that. The only caveat I have is be careful if you have a chewer. One of my pitties likes to drag it around by the tabs on the paw parts so I have to watch her.
