Durable Design
Our proprietary ballistic fabric has been expertly engineered to resist rips, tears, and punctures. The tight weave allows it to stand up to heavy digging and scratching behaviors, along with roughhousing and hard play.
Ripstop technology also reinforces the material and prevents any potential damage from growing and spreading.
Machine Washable
The ballistic material is incredibly easy to keep clean—fur and dirt can be brushed or vacuumed right off, and a damp towel can be used to spot clean more stubborn areas. The cover can also be removed and machine-washed to get it looking as good as new.
For best results, wash in cold water on a delicate cycle and allow it to air dry.
USA Made Foam
Our pillow dog bed mattresses are manufactured in-house at our California facility. They feature a rip-stop liner for extra strength and are filled with shredded CertiPUR-US certified foam.
These mattresses are soft enough to sink into, but densely packed so that your dog never feels the floor. Sewn-in channels prevent the fill from shifting or clumping up.
Water Resistant
Our ballistic covers are lined with a water-resistant coating that helps guard the mattress against water from weather, spills, and other accidents. For extra protection, the material is also treated with a durable water repellent finish so that fluids bead up and roll right off it. This keeps your dog’s bed fresher for longer, and makes spot cleaning a breeze.

Our Tough covers are made from 1200D ripstop ballistic fabric. It has a smooth, slick texture that fur and dirt won’t stick to. Good both indoors and outside.

Premium Finish
This is our original ripstop ballistic fabric, but with a faux-woven coating that makes it a bit softer to the touch. Fur and dirt can stick more easily, so it should be used indoors only.

This also uses our original ripstop ballistic fabric, but it has a fuzzy coating of soft polyester fibers to make it nice and plush. Extra comfy, but will attract fur and dirt more easily.

My 3rd purchase for my chewy Great Danes, PERFECT!
I went through $1000’s in beds for my 3 great danes over the last 3 years and they were being destroyed within weeks. I found K9 Ballistics about 18 months ago and they are the only ones still here. This one (pictured with one of my Danes) is the best yet. Don’t be disappointed like I was when unpacking. The cushions look real flat… but within 4-5 hours they poof up thicker than my own bed mattress. The two upper cushions have their own zip in compartments, which are hard to even notice since it’s all black in there. The upper cushions on 3 sides really make a more cozy area for them to snuggle into. The XXL is BIG! The picture is of my 150lb female. The waterproof and chew resistant cover is VERY high quality as are the internals. This would be really wonderful for a large dog and litter, although buying a 2nd cover might be a nice option for that scenario for frequent changing. I only wish I had not chosen blue. It’s so big, be sure to choose a color that blends with your room. It’s no cute little bed in the corner.

Best bed we’ve purchased in years!
We are very happy with our purchase! We were very nervous spending so much money on dog beds since we’ve bought many dog beds in our Great Dane’s lifetime. She gets to digging to make herself comfortable and finds a hole, and then the bed is a goner! So now that we’ve had ours for over a month with no issues, we are convinced this was worth the money! I think she has probably done some digging at the bed with no success, so she doesn’t even try anymore. We purchased a large for our Great Dane, and a medium for our little Boxer mix. A lot of times, our Great Dane will curl up in the medium, and our little one will stretch out in the large, which is pretty funny. We wanted the comfiest of beds because we were getting new furniture and didn’t want them to have free reign over the couches anymore while we were gone for the day. These beds are definitely comfy for them! The only reasons I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because the cushion inside doesn’t really stay perfectly, so sometimes the bed is leaning back a little, (if that makes sense) and the loudness/discomfort of the fabric. With that said, I realize the loudness of the fabric is something that comes with the territory when you’re getting a bed that will withstand that kind of wear and tear. I think we’ll eventually buy a softer cover for the top. Right now, we just drape blankets over the top so it’s softer for them, but it just looks messy rather than cozy. When we took the cushion by itself out of the box, our Dane layed on it right away and was in heaven. Once we got it all stuffed in to the bed cover, she wasn’t a fan of it until we put blankets over top. I also wished the bed would’ve come pre-stuffed. She won’t use it
Its hard, noisy, and seems quite uncomfortable. We got it for our dog because she ate her other soft, warm and comfy one, cause she eats everything. She’s in the process of eating our king size human bed that she sleeps in at night. So, we got her an expensive non-eatable bed. Well, it worked! She’s not eating it. That’s because she won’t touch it. Easy.

Product is fine…BUT
Product had a zipper opener tab missing, so I could not open the cover to finish inserting the cushion bolster. One customer service rep treated me very well and said she would process the new cover ASAP.Three days later in a follow up e-mail, a different service rep looked up our conversation, agreed that the product must have had a manufacturing defect…..THEN, stated in the e-mail she wanted me to photograph the entire length of zipper to prove the opener tab was missing……RIDICULOUS !!!Bottom line= First rep processed the replacement, regardless of what the 2nd rep wanted.2 days later the new dog bed cover was received free of charge. Seems the customer service reps are not on the same page…..

Dogs donât even seem tempted to chew the material, but even if so it seems like they wouldnât be able to get through. I bought a large enough one so i could lay with the dogs on it and have fallen asleep, itâs surprisingly very comfortable. Easy to clean, doesnât allow dirt or hair to penetrate and wipes off easily. I throw a doggy blanket on top just so itâs soft and warm. 10/10 investment, donât anticipate ever needing to replace.

My dog loves it and scratches the heck out of it without doing any damage. When I consider all the beds she has torn up, it makes this a great value for the money. She is a pit bull mix. The bed is soft but the fabric is tough.
