Made for dogs
I misunderstood and thought this was made for dogs and cats, but my cat is not motivated by food (only treats, and not those if the activity is too hard – he’s snobby that way) so this didn’t work for us. To be fair about it though this makes me want to get a dog! It’s extremely well made, looks soooooo fun, and would go a long way towards keeping a pup busy trying to figure out how to get to the goodies! keeps dogs entertained
This was a little difficult for my dogs at first. One figured it out. The other did not.The delivery was very slow.My dogs are too small to press the top to release more food, so I do that when it looks like it is getting low. Sometimes the kibble gets caught and the lid does not pop back up.

This slow feeder from ‘ClariVora’ is good for our fast growing puppy. He is a eating machine, just chows down fast large quantities of feed, and gaining weight too much too fast. He is a very active and intelligent dog and gets bored if he has nothing to do.This feeder allows him to think and feed at the same time. The feeder is quite simple in design. A central pellet storage feeds limited amounts of the pellets into 8 chutes. Each chute is covered with a lid. The dog has learn to lift the lid. When all 8 chutes are empty, he has to learn to refill the chutes by paw pressing the central storage.The feeder comes with stick-ons for stability on hard floor or carpet. There is a separate rough stick-on for grinding the dog’s nails when he pushes on the central storage box. But I am not optimistic that it will grind down the nails very much.Ours is a boisterous mid size dog. I cannot predict how long this all-plastic feeder will last.
