I love how soft this is for Beau. He seems to really like it. It doesn’t keep him super warm but I’ve found that if I put on one of his tee shirts under it then it keeps him warmer. Also, I bought this in the same size (L) as the other iChoue shirts we’ve bought. It is bigger than the other ones in my opinion. So I just ordered two more in the next smaller size (M). But it works when I layer it. For reference Beauregard is about 25lbs with a 14” back, 23.5” chest and 17” neck. His back is shorter than a Frenchie of his weight and even though he is a male there is no issue with the coverage of his undercarriage. We love the iChoue clothes. They fit barrel chested dogs the best I’ve found. They are kind of addicting. It’s hard to stop buying him new clothes now because they fit and look so cute. When he wears this particular sweater my husband calls him Grogu. Lol

Such a cute fit for my frenchie!
This sweater is adorable and the color is just as pictured. I ordered the medium and the large in the purple color (I don’t know why they call it purple- it’s more of a raspberry color like shown in the photo). The medium ended up fitting perfectly and she was swimming in the large. My frenchie is 28lbs with a 15″ neck and 23″ chest. Super soft and comfortable. I wish there were more girly colors I could order. Might just have to get the denim blue looking one though- I think it would look so good on my girl! Highly recommend!

We love Lilly’s new sweater.
Soft fabric, cute design, practical and necessary.My girl has such a wide chest compared to her average sized head, I tried to accommodate the chest size and found it was too loose around her head and neck. Consider if you DON’T want a saggy sweater, possibly size down because it’s a loose knit stretchy soft fabric, and on my dog, the size large got a bit saggy after a few days. And it’s very fixable if you know how to use a needle and thread. My dog Lilly is 39 lbs of solid dog. We think she is a Boston-Pit-Boxer. If she were a human, we would say she has an inverted triangle figure, a barrel shape, with a 16” neckline, a 21” backline, and 26” inch chest line. For this reason I got her the size large, not knowing how stretchy this fabric is. Her short fur and very little subcutaneous fat make her a low cold-tolerance dog. Her temperament is extreme friendliness with high emotional affiliation and validation seeking. So when the ambient temperatures begin to drop, she starts shaking, becoming a super needy heat seeking missile. I got her this sweater for warmth, and now she appears more relaxed and comfortable.After wearing this around for a couple days, this sweater got a bit saggy around her neck and started looking like an “off the shoulder” style. Not so great. Since I learned some basic tailoring skills from my Jewish grandma, it was not difficult to add a strip of elastic (underwear waistband-type elastic) into the “canal” of the hem of the neckband.So, I DO recommend this sweater for anyone with a barrel-shaped dog who gets cold easily, and consider the measurements shown, while keeping in mind that the fabric is pretty loosely knit, and there is a potential for sagginess of the neckline. So you could size down, or you could disassemble a part of the neckline hem, add a strip of underpants-harvested elastic band, and sew it back up, as a little custom tailoring to fit your dog’s dimensions. Overall, I super LOVE this sweater.

Bought this in blue so cute, for my frenchie. He is 23lb, M was a perfect fit. A little pricey but worth the money. I actually purchased another top from this manufacturer. The fit is great for big chested dogs.
