Helped my senior cats lose weight and live long lives
I switched to this Indoor Senior Cat food from another Hill’s Science Diet food several years ago. My Norwegian Forest cat had a stroke several weeks ago, but was perfectly healthy up until then at age 18-years. My “younger” cat is 14-1/2-years, but she doesn’t seem to know it. Oh, she’s always been a bit crazy, and may be experiencing some cognitive decline, but she still chases toy mice around the house and hunts spiders when she gets the chance. She’s pretty energetic. I accidentally subscribed to the regular senior cat food, as opposed to the indoor variety for a while, and my cats gained weight noticeably.

Adult cat loves it
We had our 10 year old cat on Purina One indoor salmon cat food. In the past few months they mustâve changed ingredients as it was causing loose stools and he wasnât playing much. We switched him to this food last week and what a huge improvement. He loves it, his poops are back to normal and heâs much more playful and happier. Definitely a great cat food!

Good but my cat doesn’t like it
My cat doesn’t like it too much I have to.mix it with treats, I’m.not sure if it is the taste or if is too hard to bite for her ,.may be they should make it softer and easier to bite for older cats. My cat is 16 years old.

High Quality, Vet Recommend
Hills is well known throughout the industry as a high end premium brand. Our vet specifically recommended Hills for our situation and we used it for over a year before needing to switch as our kitty got older and developed health problems that require a special diet. Our cat definitely liked it and when weâve given it to cats at the shelter we volunteer for it is always a winner there as well. Our vet and everybody in our volunteering community, including some members who have been doing this for over 30 years, speak very highly of this brand. With anything high quality itâll never be the cheapest option, but if you can afford it or if your special friend is starting to age and doesnât necessarily want to be eating the same junk they could eat without issue as a younger cat, absolutely consider Hills.

My Senior Catâs Favorite
Real Chicken is LESS EXPENSIVE than processed canned food. But my cat has an emotional need for the crunchy, healthy tablespoon of Senior Science. We also offer it as a snack. He was adopted from a Humane Society and I was given a quart ziploc of Senior Chicken Science Diet. âThis is what he likes and itâs healthy for him.â Not sure of his exact age but he has a beautiful shiny coat and with the teeth he has left, he seems to enjoy the crunchy chewing the best.
