Dogs enjoyed them
My dogs really enjoyed these treats. They did seem to help them stay calm. My dogs are large and one is quite active. It was sometimes difficult to tell if the treats were directly affecting her behavior, but she did truly seem to rest better after eating them. Each and every dog is different, but I do think giving these a try is a great idea especially if you have a high energy or nervous dog.

My dog likes them
Well these go down like a treat for my dog, but then he rarely turns down any food. To try them out, I gave them to him before taking him outside for his afternoon playtime for 3 days in a row. He generally barks a lot at almost any noise from the neighbors. With these I’ve noticed a slight improvement. He seems a little more laid back and not quite so barky. He plays for a little while and then finds a nice spot in the shade where he can lay down and watch the road from afar. Anyway, so far so good. The real test will be the fireworks on the fourth of July. I plan to give them to him starting a couple of days in advance to get him primed. Between that, his comfort vest and his soothing sound machine, hopefully it won’t be quite as traumatic.I took one star off because palm fruit oil is listed in the inactive ingredients on the label. In small amounts, the consensus seems to be that it’s not toxic to dogs, but in general I try to stay away from it in all things.

Ok, but didn’t work for us
All three of my dogs took the chew and spit it out. They all ate it after trying to give it to them again. I’ve been putting peanut butter on them. The smell is defiantly organic. For me I have not noticed a huge change, but maybe I’m not giving them enough. Over all I needed more treats for my guys anyway. They get too hyper and freak at the vet during boarding, kinda aggressive or getting so scared they pee. I thought this might help, but might have to keep doing the recommended medication to chill them. Hope this helps.

Great Tasting According to My Dogs
I have some of the highest energy animals I’ve ever seen. These will help them chill out so they don’t attack every person that walks into the house. By attack, I do not mean in a violent way, I mean attack with love. They are so excited to see any human, they jump and jump and jump and punch with their paws, kiss you in the face or where ever they can reach. It doesn’t stop. You can’t get away from them. If you try to sit down, then you’re more within their reach and they are going to tackle you. They love the taste of these hemp chews. I give them each 4 or 5 of them and they will calm down for 40 minutes to an hour. Perfect for getting some in their system before someone comes home from work or over to visit. Seems to keep them calm enough.

Seems to work, with a yorkie it’s hard to tell.
My yorkie is 3 years old and full of energy. He can bark constantly and run and jump and spin around for hours. These do seem to allow him to let a few things not need so much of his attention.

My dogs love the taste — and it helps them nap
My dogs like the smell and taste of these chews — I’ve been using them as a meal topper to get them started eating their kibble, so they don’t walk away. Works very well — they have to eat their way to the bottom of the bowl to get to them. After that it’s nap time, well… until the mail arrives. They do offer some good calming an sleep. I’ve tried a few hemp chews that my dogs didn’t care for, but they love these. I also like that they’re made in the USA. Recommended.

Product All Stuck Together in One Large Clump
I may have received an odd batch but upon opening the package of Pawadox Hemp Calming Chews for Dogs (Duck Flavored) all 120 chews were stuck together in one large clump (see photo) and some of the chews were very crumbly, falling apart at the touch.Please note that the package and container of chews were not left in a hot environment, at last since I received them, and they were picked up from my front door minutes after being delivered. That being said, I am not sure if Amazon stored them or they were left in a hot environment before they got to my house, which might explain why all 120 chews were stuck together. The manufacturer states that the supplement has a soft texture for easy chewing, which may also explain why the all stuck together.As for the product itself, the Pawadox Hemp Calming Chews are made in the U.S. of all natural ingredients, and they seem to help calm my dogs. Both dogs are eating the chews without any digestive issues and seem to like the taste.Recommended, aside from the clumping issue.

Item came as described and like the picture. Kind of stinky but the dog is eating them. Calming effects for my dog have been very mild and low but still making a difference. Dog is still alert and present as desired
