Helps prevent pulling
This is our second purchase. We have a large breed 4 month old puppy. Weâve been leash training him and working on obedience. This harness has been a life saver! Because heâs still growing, we bought one he could grow into. The first one we bought was so loose (because we ordered a larger size) that he was able to chew on it and broke a clasp. But since it had worked great up until then, we bought a second one and now make sure he only has it on for training so he canât chew on it. The handle is excellent for helping correct behavior and he doesnât pull at all when on the leash!

Great for light-moderate chewers
I purchased this product twice as my golden retriever got bigger. Loved the collar and harness but because he is an aggressive chewer, I had to replace the leash. Overall great product and cheaper than Petco.

Great harness!
We have now bought 4 total. We have to keep upsizing due to fast growing pups. They are so easy to use and adjust! The pups got used to wearing them in no time and they seem comfortable. I love the black, we also got camouflage, which isnât as manly as Iâd like for male dogs. The size chart seems accurate. These harnesses are well built.

We bought this item in anticipation of getting a new puppy. I bought the smallest size and when our puppy finally arrived it was far too big. Our dog is 7 lbs. I then bought a smaller cheaper one at a local pet store in anticipation that our dog would eventually grow into this harness. I took the dog for a walk today (literally the third time I have ever used the leash that was included) and the leash just broke. He wasnât even pulling. He is now only 9lbs!?!I would have returned it but my âwindow of returnsâ was closed. Not happy about it. At all. Iâm sure once he fits into the harness it might work with a better leash, but this thing is described as âheavy dutyâ. How does a heavy duty leash break on a 9lb dog?

Puppy proof, very sturdy product
I got the XS for my puppy and it was so easy to put it on & take it off! The leash is short but I think itâs perfect for train walking and generally keeping him close & away from stuff he shouldnât get into! 🙂 he bites on the leash a lot but itâs been holding on really well despite the bites and holes heâs put into it! He pulls so much so I also love that it doesnât choke him like a regular leash wouldHeâs reaching a little over 20 pounds now so Iâm planning to order a bigger size before he canât fit in it anymore. Great product in my opinion, would buy again for any dogUpdate: ended up buying a bigger size, he outgrew the original pretty quick! He isss older so he bit through the leash and ripped it up 🙁 he also gnawed on the harness buttons which ended up making the buttons not work at all anymore, rendering harness useless. Still a great first harness for pups, honestly wouldnât buy for a teething dog but Iâd buy again for a pup or older dog

My 25 lb puppy was wearing this harness that she had only had for the couple of months that I had her for and she unfortunately jumped out the window of my car, hoping the harness would save her as it was attached to a seatbelt but instead it completely tore in half resulting in her falling from the harness and getting run over. She did not survive. Do not purchase this item if you care about the well being of your pet.
