Good doggy boot
My Labrador had major surgery on his front foot and these were a life saver to keep him from licking and chewing the wound till it healed. Plus enabled him to walk on his foot without getting dirty. Best dog boot I found, fit very well and soft inside so didnât rub the foot plus you could put over bandages too.

doesn’t stay on – fabric breaks down
This dog bootie did not stay on my dog’s paw. The fit was very odd as it sat sideways. Not sure if I had a defective one. I ordered a medium for my 70 lb. Boxer. That was the recommended size for him. When I put his paw in – it fit – but when I secured the neoprene to the velcro it gets twisted and is loose at the top. It was only a matter of a very short time before he somehow managed to free himself from the bootie. I also tried this bootie with a sock on his paw to see if that would help secure better but the same result happened. The other thing I noticed after one day of use trying the bootie several times is the fabric immediately gets worn from the velcro. As the pic shows the blue fabric is already worn from the velcro pulling on it. This is after one day. I am returning and looking for another option as this is not going to work for my dog.

Dog bootie OK, not great
Less than 1 week in use. Had a little trouble getting this to stay on, and after a few uses, the velcro tab came off, so we have to secure with a piece of vet wrap or a rubber band (which we don’t leave on longer than it takes to potty walk the dog). Still, this boot made a nice protective cover to wear outside on dry days to keep a bandage clean, and I am still using it for that. The stitching around the black part is coming off, so I don’t know how much longer the black protective part will stay on the blue neoprene part, but it should last for the one more week we need to use it for this particular injury. I did buy the non stick pads for inside, which are also just OK. the adhesive made to hold them into the boot doesn’t really stick to the boot very well. They did a pretty good job absorbing any ooze, but now his wound is healed enough to not really need it. We are keeping it wrapped very lightly with vetwrap while inside and adding the dog bootie for potty walks. Also, if it does get wet (like if the dog steps in his water bowl or if it falls off outside in the dark and stays there until you find it the next morning) it does not dry very quickly which makes me wonder how much moisture it holds if dealing with a weepy wound or sweaty dog pads. Not sure if I would buy again, at least not for the price. Maybe would buy again if it was closer to $10.

Works best on left paw
Wish this was available for left and right paws too account for duclaw and wrapping direction.Bought for my boyâs right paw to keep him from licking and give cushion for outside while paw heals. He is 80lbs, lab/pit/shepherd mix and he fit into Medium perfectly.Cons: Have to strategically wrap it to get it secured right. Wish it wrapped higher up on his leg to prevent slipping, and wish it wrapped in the other direction.Pros: soft inside, comfortable to wear. Cushion pad on bottom helps my boy walk the barren wasteland that is my backyard without injuring his paw. Velcro works VERY WELL and has two strips to get a nice tight fit. He doesnât seem to mind it and this is a dog that gets out of anything I put on him in 2 seconds. He seems happy that I bought this for him.I would like to buy a wrap for each foot to take him on hot summer walks but since the wrap only goes one direction I may have to hold off and look for a similar product that has opposite directions for left and right feet.

Definitely worth it
Definitely worth it! My dog’s paw pad was raw and sore. Kept pulling off bandages 5 minutes after I put on. Was using vetwrap and gauze that was apparently irritating. It was amazing that when I put this bootie on it didnt bother him at all. So easy too. Slip in a gauze pad and he kept it on all day! It does seem to run large. I have an Australian shepherd and got the medium because the small “pug SIZE” seemed too small even after I measured. The foot/ bootie part seems large. It stays on but probably the small would have fit better. Too much wiggle room in the paw part which causes it to move and need adjustment. Unless you have a gauze wrap underneath ( surgery, etc). Hes an outside dog so this holds up pretty well. Definitely would buy again and probably a size smaller than you need unless you have a large underwear bandage

Doesnât stay in place.
Not constructed to fit the shape of a dogs back paw at all in my opinion. Runs big despite sizing down after reading reviews. Kept sliding off even when Velcro snug around my dogs leg. Made out of nice materials but useless for my dog if canât stay in place more than two steps out the door. My dog is large 70 pound husky and a medium was still too big.

Comfortable Bootie
I am using these as “booties” for my golden doodle so he can navigate hardwood floors. He likes to zoom around after his dinner and can easily have his feet fly out from under him when cutting corners around our couch and heading in for a “touchdown” after he tosses his favorite Gumby toy into the air. We have tried 5 different kinds of booties for him, in all price ranges. Unfortunately, he was not happy with them and would remove them when we weren’t looking. He’s quite clever. His feet are big, so I wondered it the pressure of the other booties, even those for giant dogs, bothered him. I thought I would try these for a last resort. He loves them! They stay on, are super soft, he can run in them and his tootsies are happy! He now stands quietly and extends his paws to put them on, he likes them so much. He had hurt his claw on one toe in the meantime and these booties were super good to keep it safe. It didn’t slow him down any. These take a little learning and trial and error to use. Also, you need to get the correct size for your pet. His are slightly oversized, which is his personal preference, as he has little webs on his feet and fluffs on his toes and doesn’t seem to like them mashed but doesn’t mind it tighter on his leg. They are a soft felt material on the side and top with a Velcro fastener that wraps around your pet’s ankle. The bottom is a soft rubber that is flexible, not stiff.

The vet technician loved this boot. She wanted to know where I got it & said it’s a great option for dogs after foot surgery until healed. It kept the bandage clean and I just put plastic bag over it covered with a sock to go outside to keep boot and bandage dry. I removed the plastic bag and sock as soon as she came back in. The boot wicks moisture away from foot and keeps it all dry and healing nicely. It might be great to get in touch with a vet so they would have the boot in stock for foot surgery options.

Well made boot to cover my dog’s bandaged foot.

I knew from reading the other reviews that I was taking a chance on the fit. I measured my border collies foot and purchased accordingly but they didn’t fit him very well, too wide at the top and the bottom of the foot didn’t sit right either. He had a toe injury and I wanted to cover it, to take him on short walks. I purchased two so that I could use one while the other was drying. One of them washed well, the other the stitching came apart. Disappointing as it looked like a much better solution than the other dog boots advertised.

There was no medical gauze to insert as advertised. Fell apart after 2 uses.

Clearly well made dog booties, but we bought X-Small for our cat with CH to better grip the laminate floors in our home, and they are simply just poorly fitted for cats. Our cat slipped out of them in seconds, so too bad. Returned to amazon with no hassle.P.S. Package is only for two booties.
