Great product, easy to put on dog’s feet
Great product, easy to put on dog’s feet. Machine washable and water resistant. They are much bigger than I expected, though. I have a Lab/Husky mix, and every other bootie I have purchased for her has had to be an XL because they always run so small. So I just assumed that I would have to get an XL in these as well, but they are much too big. A Large would have been plenty big. (Disclaimer: It does suggest that the XL is recommended for Mastiffs and St. Bernards, etc., so the fault is my own. The description on the listing is not deceiving.) Fortunately, because they wrap around the foot instead of just slip on, I am able to adjust the size to be a little tighter around the ankle. It actually might be better that I have the XL, because my dog has Hepatocutaneous Syndrome and has swollen pads. With the XL, she has plenty of room so there is no added pressure on her pads.

Easy to put on but fall off easily, might be good for indoors only
I’m thrilled with these even though they aren’t holding up well to scuffing on the sidewalk/street, which my dog does with one paw because of a neuro issue. His nails are worn down and he’s starting to scrape the top of his foot, so I really hoped these would work, and they do! First, they go right on. Second, he got used to them immediately (although he is only wearing one). Third, they stay on pretty well. I did have some tough nonskid stick-on tape that I put on the front edge and the sole of the bootie, and it’s working great! I just wanted something easy to put on that he would tolerate. Also they’re soft inside–kind of a smooth neoprene type stuff, slightly slicker than neoprene. Seems pretty comfortable.Update: I had to give up on using this for walks, it slips off too easily and gets shredded quickly so I downgraded from 5 to 3 stars. For some temporary use indoors these would be good, but I’d ask a vet before leaving them on very long at all.

Great But Seem Large
My poor Aussie was bitten on her foot by another dog and developed a horrible case of necrosis that spread to half her foot. Trying to keep her from working her way around a “cone of shame” was hopeless, especially since it was her front foot. I searched everywhere for a solution, and on a message board someone included a link to these booties. It was absolutely perfect for her.In cases of a would like my pup, it was imperative that her foot be covered, and yet allow the air to get in so chances infection would be lower. These are breathable neoprene with a added “non-slip” patch and Velcro straps. The other perfect part of these was that the toe box was big enough so that it didn’t put undue pressure on her wound. This was especially important after her 3 weeks in surgical wrappings while going through a manuka honey treatment. The Velcro straps work great to ensure the booties don’t come off. This was huge for me because If she got it off, we would be in big trouble. Only on a couple of occasions over 3 months did I have that issue, but that was more that I didn’t secure it well enough. Aussies are also (extremely) active so that also added to it.Durability wise is where I had to remove a star. Granted my pup wore one all day every day for nearly 4 months, she did go through them pretty quickly. I ended up ordering a second pair (this time smaller) to help get us to the finish line. The non-slip toe pads wear out pretty quickly if they are used outside. Also, the star came off because they really aren’t non-slip. They work well, but will your pup be able to fake people out of the shoes on the basketball court? No.Great purchase for my situation and really saved my pup from extreme measures to keep her paw safe. Just know (to me) the seem to run pretty big. She’s 40lbs and the medium was still pretty big on her foot.

Lasted 2 days with very limited use
I have a lab with a bad cut on the pad of their foot. I’m using cotton bandages under vet wrap, and wanted something to slide on over the bandage when they go outside. The vet advised that I keep her as quiet as possible, so she keeps an e-collar on, and goes outside 5 times a day: wake up, after breakfast, mid-day, after dinner, and bedtime. The weather has been in the single digits, so the trips outside have been less than 5 minutes each. When she comes back in, I remove the Healers bandage. These were received late in the day on the 29th, and I took these pictures first thing in the morning on the 31st. They were used 11 times, alternating both boots on one foot- so maybe 6 times use for each bandage. With that in mind, please see the pictures of Healer’s bandages. The sizing was good, no smell, cut and velcro worked wonderfully. They were exactly what I was hoping for, and it’s apparent that these items were well thought out by the creators. That is why there is no excuse for the material used on the bottom of the bandages to be cheap and fragile.Items made completely useless by cost cutting manufacturing, I assume.Don’t waste your time and money.

When I tell you I’m crying, I literally mean I’m crying- out of pure joy amd relief. My 9 month old Rottweiler has a burst cyst in between her paws and needs to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks. She will not stop licking her goddang paw. I have tried e collars, cloud collars, bandaging, and every combination of the three (on top of ‘Yuk’ bitter chewing/ licking deterrent spray which did absolutely nothing). She could STILL get to her front paw always (no e collar was long enough). I need to keep the paw clean and dry- rubber balloon booties don’t allow air flow and any other dog boot she gets off with ease. I was desperate, frustrated, and mainly in concern for my baby. These boots are LIGHT and allow air flow so it allows wounds to dry out and heal! It’s like a wrap-around secure Velcro boot that’s strong and my pup is unable to get off (first time ever). Not only that- but they seem COMFORTABLE. She honestly doesnt even mind having it on and it blows my mind. And it comes with removable fitting adhesive gauze inserts for extra sanitation. Even if she gets drool on her paw by trying to get to it, this boot not only protects the would itself from physical contact, but also prevents any saliva/ moisture to reach the wound and keeps her away from getting into any contact orally with the topical cream I’ve been using. Not an outdoor boot- this is the perfect recovery boot. I reccomend this to everyone. S e r I o u s l y.

Unfortunately I did not get to use them. They were too big and this company doesn’t do exchanges unfortunately so it was just a waste of money. I’m sure they would of been useful if they fit.
