Great! Picky Eater Loves this
These are similar to the regular delectables but more of a wet food topper. My cat loves the tuna/whitefish flavor and looks forward to this every day.

My cat loves this!
My cat is super picky and super spoiled! The delectables chowder is one of his favorites! The packaging is always perfect and the product seems to be fresh and consistent. So glad I found them as I usually buy four different types a week.

Regular Ordered
I order these regularly for my elderly cat who has issues with his teeth. They are very liquidy so he can eat easily and it adds calories.

Word of Caution
My older cat loves this brand but hates the senior one, he likes the one with the flakes of fish, in fact all of them as long as they are fish. My youngest one eats anything. The problem is this is a treat, I even think it says it in the box, in other words it should not be their main source of food. The problem here is that he would only eat this every 10 minutes. You are probably thinking “well don’t give it to him” Â Easier said than done, he is a very expressive talkative and did not stop crying until I gave it to him and even would bite my toes. Make the calculations every ten minutes at $1.20, not getting the nutrition that should get, and refusing to eat anything else. I decided I had to find food that he would like and would not have all the crap that most pet food contains and would not break the bank. I bought the most expensive cat food there is at $3 a can, and he still would smell it and walk away, Would I recommend these treats? Sure, just be aware they become addicted and would refuse anything else.

Picky eaters no problem
My cat at my equestrian center was adopted just over year ago. She is beyond picky with her food and treats. Iâve tried giving her cheap treats and food all the way to super expensive gourmet varieties. Almost all of those were complete waste as thereâs very few things sheâll actually eat thus just flushed money down drain as she either wouldnât touch or only ate what she wanted of it liquid, meat, etc. I have to give her a pretty specific diet so that sheâs not wasteful.Iâve gotten a variety across the board of Hartz delectables including one flavor in each of the varieties (gravy, broth, stew, etc). Sheâs had zero issues with any of them and she begs for them as much as she can in day. She gets 1 to 2 of them in evening as theyâre her reward for coming into barn for lockdown all on her own.She absolutely loves them and will pick them over the treats she likes every time. She has her dry food set up right by where sheâs given these in separate bowl. Sheâll eat all of this and then eat her dry food. What I found in the other canned/wet foods I attempted to give her is that she liked the âjuiceâ over the actual meat in most. She does same thing with these by licking all liquids first then grabbing the shreds and little pieces of meat. These are the perfect size for a treat feeding or added happy food. Thereâs not a ton in each bag and thereâs not some minuscule amount either. Thereâs no need for a can lid or refrigerator as theyâre basically single serve baggies.Something to scrape out the contents of bag is necessary as some the meat will stay in bottom or get stuck to sides while dumping into bowl. I use a plastic knife to do this but the $1 icing applicator/scraper at dollar tree thatâs a miniature silicone deign also would work great. Iâve tried rolling bag up to empty all out without scraping but it doesnât work.Just wish better cost per unit so could give her how many she would like to have in day (1 to 2 in am and 1 to 2 in pm). But Iâve yet to find them. The box they come in doesnât hold up too well. I apply duct tape to the bottom to give it some firmness and make it where just doesnât fall apart. Rather than keeping in original boxes separated by flavor (way they come unless variety pack), I empty the boxes, strengthen with tape, put each flavor into a stack, and then set up the daily giving order so different flavor each time given. Once all gathered for a box theyâre placed into one of their original boxes with tape.Itâs also great to know that if and when another cat comes into my life that both kitten and senior versions available. As far as scent theyâre horrendous and can smell it from far away when in trash or been open few hours.
