Large IS a Large for Rats and Syrian Hamsters
This is a perfect large size for my Chunky Furry Syrian Hamster and Iâd say for rats, baby to small porcupines, lizards of the similar size. Not suitable for those larger hamster people call âpiggiesâ unless itâs a baby as they are too fat. To give perspective, I have a smaller than average hand as Iâm very petite and wear a size 5-6 ring.

My leopard gecko likes it!
My leopard gecko, Fred, likes it! He doesnât lay on it a lot, because heâs usually in his warm hide. But he has gotten on it before, and if I put him on it, he will lay there for a bit before moving sometimes. The quality is nice, it looks cute in his tank, the size is perfect, and I really like the color!

Wish it wouldnât get so dirty so fast but itâs quite to wash so whatever- good size my Guinea pigs are fat so obviously theyâre a lil bigger than the bed but they love it!!! Very soft as well!

SIZING ENTIRELY WRONG, POOR CONSTRUCTION
What a waste. Ordered the large size, and upon measurement with two different rulers I have since confirmed these beds are NOT as described in terms of physical dimensions. The “large” is only about 5 inches long and barely 3 inches wide – way too small for my big boars. I thought that I’d just received the wrong size, but no – “large” is printed right there on these flimsy, paper-thin beds. Combined with fraying seams (visible in packaging) and poor materials (fabric is cheap and non-absorbent), these beds earn an “F” for quality.My recommendation: don’t buy these.

They don’t come apart in wash, bedding sticks
I have several of these in different sizes. My hamsters seem to like them. They drag them to where they want them and sleep in them. I’ve washed older ones several times and they don’t come apart in the wash. However, if you don’t pull every piece of paper bedding off of the cushion, the paper sticks through the washer and dryer. You end up with a bed still covered with clean paper bedding. But there are some I’ve had over a year and they are still working very well for my hamsters.
