Should have gotten this before the travel crate!
I wanted to be able to quickly have my dog jump into the car and go places with us without having to load his large travel crate into the car. I tried just having him sit in the trunk of our RAV, but he quickly leapt over the back set just to be near to us. With this barrier he stays nice and safe in the trunk. Simple quick installation, a lot of room for adjustments depending on your car. I can usually install/remove from our car in a matter of minutes. It just uses bungie cords to hold to the back seat head rests.

It keeps my four dogs out of the groceries
And no, I am not an animal hoarder; just lucky. First, I assembled it in the cramped car, so I didn’t fit it together exactly as instructed, but it seems to work just fine. My only concern is gravity; because it attaches to headrests and not to the ceiling, there is nothing but slight friction to keep the wire ‘fence’ from sliding or being pushed down. Still, that has not yet proven to be a problem. And, I’m sure there are plenty of ‘bush fixes’ to prevent that, if it ever became an issue. The wire fencing, bungees and plastic bits are all solid and well made. I notice that about half of the low ratings for this product are related to the difficulty in assembly, and half about how it may be possible for a large, determined dog to push through. I agree that the instructions are unclear and could be way better, and because it attaches only in the middle (to headrests) and not to the top or bottom, it is susceptible to failure. Which is why it is essential to let your dog know that it is impenetrable the very first time you use it. Adjust it to fit as tightly as possible between the ceiling, the sides, and the floor/back seat. Fully extend the headrests so the gate can be attached at multiple points, and wrap towels around the headrest ‘legs’ to prevent the bungees from sliding either up or down. Then wedge temporary cargo around the sides and bottom (we used some 2X4s and blankets to fill any gaps). Once the dogs have tested their new ‘cage wall’, they will be satisfied that it is secure (hopefully), and not continue to test it in the future. Then you can remove the additional stuff you used to make it secure. Ideally, the instructions would have come with helpful hints to improve the installation experience, as well as warnings about how the product was not foolproof. Still, it seems to work quite well for most.

Serves it purpose!
I have a 4Runner and it fits with plenty of room to spare. It serves it purpose to keep my 5 dogs in the trunk area of the car. Thereâs no room for even the small ones to jump over which is perfect. I wish the instructions had been slightly more detailed but once I figured it out, super easy. Itâs a little difficult to install by yourself but doable. Holds in place. No rattling or anything. Definitely recommend so far!

Easy to Assemble
This was very easy to put together and comes in sections that can be fastened together. I only needed 2 to fit my 2023 Ford Bronco Sport.Attachéâs easily to the headrest bars and adjusts to a tight fit

Great product
It was alittle tough to install but it was most likely user error. Worked great. Pets could get through. Would buy again.

Missing parts and broken weld
The product seemed a good design. It is simple and stores easily, breaking down into two separate panels. Mine arrived with parts missing though, so it would not lock together. There also was a broken weld that made it feel a bit flimsier than if it were properly welded. Canât help but feel that I was shipped an item that was previously returned, but without any effort to restore it to a usable product.

Great for keeping the pups in the back!
I installed this gate in the back of my jeep grand Cherokee to keep my huskyâs from climbing all around the kiddos while weâre driving, works fantastic! I have a couple stubborn huskyâs that will break through just about anything to get to the front seat but now this gate keeps them locked in the back of the suv! So thankful this product works and is very secure! Easy to install, I did it by myself. Very customizable too for any suv vehicle!

Buddy approved!
I rescued this dog a few months ago. I have a Range Rover so I didnât want him in the seats. This has helped him get use to riding. I also recommend a harness that attaches like a car seat and to their collar so that they donât have full range. Plus when you open the back, they donât jump out. I gave it only 4 stars because it does slide a bit but that could be just me not being able to get it tight enough. With those 2 items together, he rides very comfortably, controlled and safely.

I thought this would be way more robust for the money. Itâs thin metal and no where near worth $100. Donât know what else to say really. It does the job but itâs a total rip off for what it isâ¦.. $50 absolute max I would pay and think itâs an ok price for strength and quality. Defo not $100, itâs literally some thin wire and prob cost $5 to make if that.
