Our Pup Loves Them
Made in the USA, that is the first thing I look for. Next, I check the ingredients. I am a little confused, however, because of the front of the package, it says Duck Recipe- France sourced duck. Underneath, it says roasted chicken treats with natural smokey flavor. When I read the back with ingredients, the first three ingredients are, in order: duck, chicken and egg. So they are loaded in protein, which is great! No added sugars or molasses. So I am glad to know that there is both duck and chicken.Although we do not have a dog with hip problems, we do have a pup less than a year old. He loves them! I break them into smaller pieces, although he would gladly eat one entire strip. The recommended daily allowance according to your dog’s weight, is on the back.

Healthy, Tasty Dog Treats
I have an older dog, and we’ve been trying to add Glucosamine and Chondroitin to his diet. We’re also adding this as a supplement to our younger dog to keep her healthy as she ages. Our two rescues are not picky dogs, but they especially like these treats. I also like that they’re grain-free because we try to buy grain-free products whenever possible. The treats also contain an antioxidant, vitamin E, and are made without antibiotics, hormones, and artificial ingredients. The dogs are satisfied with small pieces which makes the treats last longer. The treats are similar to jerky treats. While they are easy to break apart, the treats are somewhat hard, so it may not be appropriate to smaller dogs who have trouble chewing.

Zeus gives these two paws up!
Zeus’ favorite meats are any type of poultry (chicken, turkey, duck — he loves them all). He literally dances for these grilled strips, and I like that the duck doesn’t stink like other duck treats I’ve bought for him.
