Warning! Heating pad doesnât last longer than 3 months.
I purchased this heating pad twice. The first time, it stopped working after 3 months. I called Amazon and they worked feverishly to find a valid email address and telephone number that worked for this company, but nothing could be found. The return policy for this item extended past the 1-month time period, so I was offered a credit from Amazon. I decided to try this same heating pad again, hoping that my first time with this heating pad was perhaps a glitch. I bought the second heating pad in October 2023, and the heating pad stopped working on December 31, 2023. Wow! I called Amazon to try to return this heating pad, but they couldnât find a telephone number or email address for this company. Not good! Since the return window was only a month, it had been three months when the heating pad stopped workingâ¦Amazon gave me a credit for Amazon items only. I will never buy from this heating pad company again! When you first see and feel this heating pad, you will really like its color and the weighted pad, the comfy pad wraps around your waist and brings a lot of comfort to your aching body. The heating settings are great because you can adjust the heat and the time settings. So, for the first few months, this is the worldâs best heating pad, but it stops working after 3 months. I bought this same heating pad twice and with the same resultâ¦it stops working. And you will not get your money back, just a credit from Amazon because the return window is 1 month and pad breaks down soon after that window has closed. So, just a cautionary tale. Pros:High quality, soft to the touch, flexible and cuddly, very warm, quick to heat.Tiny glass beads sewn inside to add the perfect weight so it conforms to me and stays put. Yes, the beads are sewn into the quilted texture so they will stay put and not shift – which I love!The plushy texture also helps it stay where I put it – even when my legs are tilted down as I use it as a lap warmer at my computer.It’s like my new favorite comfort blankie!Cute color, well stitched quilted pattern. Same color and plush texture on both sides, unlike others I looked at.The simple to use temp controller is nice to the touch, smooth around the back.It’s like the people who designed this knew that every detail matters, just like me. I’m very tactile, I’m always touching my things, there are no rough edges and no weird textures. Just lovely all over.Heats fast! Like turn it on and yep it’s ready just like that. No waiting. It’s already a little bit cozy when it is off, simply because of the plushy heavy texture, so it gives comfort during the ~20 seconds it takes to heat up. In other words, it’s never cold to the touch.The *heating* pad part is just what you’d expect. It has heat settings up to 12, I usually go up to 8 or 9. I always want to have more than I’ll need, so this is important that I don’t sit on 12 all the time. I want 12 to be “too” hot – so I can have something to look forward to on those coldest of days, if need be. This pad does the trick!There is a timer. It seems simple enough. I don’t use that part. I just turn this cozy blankie of a heating pad (I’m really forming an affection for it) off when I walk away, because it really heats up instantly if I need to return to my computer; no worries about keeping it running while I’m away from it, for me.The cord connection on mine is nice and very tight! I can tell it will never wiggle loose, no worries there at all. I flip this heating pad on and off of my lap every time I get up from my computer. The cord stays put. I had to use “pickle-jar-opening-strength” to plug it together, the first time – which is a good thing.The glass bead weighted part is what made me check out this particular heating pad, the reviews are what made me purchase it.
