Dogs like them but it takes several chews a dose
I have two older dogs that I keep on hip and joint supplements. Every now and then I like to try a new brand. The dogs really like the duck flavor. The chews are soft and manageable for older dogs with teeth issues, Although, you do have to refrigerate these after opening which will harden them up slightly. I’ve had them on it close to 2 weeks now and they seem to be doing well so far. The dosage is by weight so, I’m having to give both my dogs 4 chews each (23-69 lbs). That starts to add up fast when you only get 130 per container. I’m having to give more than I usually do with another brand I use. I also checked in with the seller to verify what they used for “Duck Flavor” because that could mean anything. I was told it was real duck broth, which is good to know! Also note it has CMC in it which is generally harmless to humans and animals, but can potentially impair the mucus barrier in the intestine and thus contribute to inflammation or infections. If you have a dog that has a sensitive stomach, I would probably stay away from this one. I would like to see them find a better healthier alternative to CMC. All in all, it’s not a bad product and so far, I have not noticed any stomach upset. Time will only tell on that part.

My dog eats these up!
My dog gobbles these up every day and didn’t second guess when I first presented it to him. Seems to digest them well. There have been other treat/supplements that I have bought for him that he wouldn’t even touch, so these work well for him. And he gets glucosamine for his joints. Would recommend!

Large dogs require a lot of chews
My dog seemed eager to eat these, so the flavor must be good (to a dog, anyway). I like the easy-screw tub to keep them sealed and fresh. The directions call for six chews a day for our dog, which seems like a lot to compared to other similar chews we’ve given our dog. I’ve remedied it by using them as treats, especially for training her to do tricks. Our dog is on a strict diet but is supposed to be taking glucosamine for her arthritis, so this is one way for us to fit them in.

Didn’t work for my dog
At only 9 years old our dog was starting to show signs of arthritis, we hoped these would help. Unfortunately, the arthritis is more pronounced and progressed further than we realized, and these didn’t provide any relief. She is now under treatment from the vet with more powerful treatment that we hope will work.These may provide some relief for animals with mild symptoms but not for ours.
