My mistake
These are nice, they’ll last a long time, and I’m sure the cats will like them eventually. They’re way bigger than I expected. The ones I’ve always gotten before were small and one of my cats loves to carry them around in her mouth and deposit them in her water dish and food dish. But, these are too big for her to do that. They will bat them around if you hook them over something, or play a little soccer on the floor, but carrying them in their mouths isn’t going to work. My mistake. It’s not the product. It’s the fact I didn’t read to find out how big they are. A dog would probably enjoy them.

Too large for a cat toy
These are much bigger than it shows in the product photos of the kid playing with a kitten. The springs are huge. Too large for a cat toy. I was looking to replace my cat’s favorite felt spring which I can no longer find. She ignores this one. It’s too large and loose. She can’t chase it up the stairs or carry it around in her mouth, or play fetch. If your cat likes to play fetch like mine, this isn’t the toy for them.

Weird smell
These have a very weird chemical smell. Let one air out for a while and gave to my cats. They loved it but maybe too much as i discovered they were chewing it apart and eatting it. Threw away so they didnât get sick or end up with a bowel obstruction.

Nice quality and my cats LOVE them
We’ve got 2 of the 5 in action around the house, with the other three as back-ups later on. My year old cats are very enthusiastic about these fun felt coils. Sometimes it’s for batting at, sometimes chasing, and sometimes they pick them up and walk off with them like prey–a versatile toy means lots of ways to play! They’re pretty and durable, so having a rainbow coil laying around isn’t gross, because they’re not frayed or junky. I’m glad we got these!

My cats are worthless. I’m sure the toy is fine
My one critique is that they are are LONG. I cut one in half to make it less scary to my scardy cat.I purchased these as an attempt to keep my cat from stealing twist ties off the counter. When I tossed the toy to her she stared at it with distain, as if I had tossed a dead snake in front of her. Maybe more distain, a dead snake would at least have interested her. She then demanded her twis tie back.Of three cats, no interested, but I put that down to defective cats, not a defective toy. I took off one star because they are so long. Otherwise, if you have working cats that aren’t prissy AF, it’s probably a great toy.

Do not hold their shape at all!
Cute and I like that theyâre wool, as opposed to the plastic ones. However, they are not as tightly coiled as pictured and quickly lost their shape after my kitties played with them for a short time.

My boy cat goes crazy for wool toys, so I thought Iâd try these. Nope, nothing. I put it in front of him and he gave me that âwtfâ look and walked away. I still gave it 3/5 stars because they look to be well made, and if I was a cat, Iâd probably like to play with these. My little female didnât even sniff them, just walked away. Iâll toss the one I gave them, then donate the other 3 to the local cat rescue. Maybe other cats will like them.
