Wasted money
I measured my dog so my issue is not fit. Once in place it did ease my effort but the ongoing battle to use it is not any better than using a bath towel. I had planned to put it on during daytime since my dog sleeps all night. It is useless to me if everytime she wants to walk someplace I STRUGGLE to get legs into the leg holes. It secures nice at waist but does not stay into that position.I will return this after trying it for the week.Difficult to get on, keep on… Makes it not work well

decent back leg support, but hard to put on
My 13 year old dog has arthritis and needs my help walking. I had been using a simple sling that is just a 10″ wide band that I put on her belly just touching the front of her back thighs and thought this rig would be better and not move around. While this sling does work and stay positioned, it is hard to put on, as the dog pretty much needs to stand up so you can put it under each foot and lift it up. My dog has a hard time standing but is OK once she is standing (and getting my support with the sling), so this sling does not work well for me. I have to try to put it on each leg and end up forcing it under the side she is laying on, which hurts her (and she shows me teeth). So, I have switched back to the original, which does not have that issue. That said, once put on, this is a good sling. So, if your dog can stand so you can get her to step into this, it works well. If not, I’d say to try the simple sling without leg hoops instead.
