Perfect for my cat!
I recently purchased a new bed for one of my cats that was much more bulky and floppy – it took up a lot of space on the couch and was just a bit too big for the space. I wanted something with much more form and found this ovalized orthopedic bed. It shipped out super fast!I plopped it on the couch, rubbed his old blanket all on the inside of this bed, and he immediately crawled in. He absolutely loves it! I’m so glad I made this purchase.The foam walls and bottom are supportive and soft, the bed itself is ridiculously light. I’m impressed with how well it holds its shape compared to every other type of pet bed I’ve bought my cats previously. I highly recommend this if you’re looking for a compact/supportive bed for your pet!

I was looking for a pet bed that can grow with our pup. This was the perfect size and shape. Its easily washable and not too thick, but perfect bottom support. Walls are not too thin. He gets hot when its summer since corgis are double coated. The color of the bed (brown) was the perfect shade. The outer material was like a cloth velvet but was a non-issue for me. Another thing is I like to see whatever is inside his bed, and I really like to keep it clean so I opted for the lighter colored (white) inner sherpa lining as oppsed to a darker shade. I also opted for sherpa, because we live in Seattle, WA, so if and when it gets cold in the winter time, the floor won’t be too cold for him. I also opted for orthopedic foam because corgis are prone to hip problems.My order arrived on time via Prime. The packaging was carefully done. Upon opening, it was thrice folded. It was easy to unfold and reverted to its orginal shape, no stains, marks or odd sewing.All in all, I can see him using this for awhile. Our corgi is currently 8 weeks old. And should grow to about 20-25 lbs. He loves this bed! So again, happy corgi, happy mommy. Thanks! ð

I’ve had this dog bed for about five months. It replaces the same one my dog used for six years.PROS:Easiest dog bed I’ve ever had to remove and replace the cover for washing.Cover machine washes (cold) and dries (medium low) nicely, and has held up over multiple washings.Replacement covers are available through the FurHaven website.Zipper still works.Lightweight.This is my dog’s go-to dog bed. She loves the bolster to snuggle up to.CONS:My 70-pound Lab likes to drape herself over the rail on the front of the bed, which has resulted in some deformity of that spot. It doesn’t bother her at all! The back and sides are still in good shape.The white fluffy sherpa fabric in the center mats down and becomes a little stained over time.Just in case of a leak, I place a waterproof puppy training mat underneath the cover because the foam is not machine washable.

Easy to wash the cover! Very important for me to be able to remove & wash cover with small dogs. I only ordered two for now. To keep clean and limit “doggie smell,” it was easy to remove cover, put a plastic garbage over interior cushion to prevent accidents going into cushion, and replacing top cover. Thumbs up on these doggie beds. I also foster dogs & cats so the ease to remove and wash cover is very important.

I expected nicer for the price
The size, shape, and tall sides are exactly what I wanted for my long and skinny 14lb kitty who prefers to lounge propoed up and stretched out like a reclining Venus, rarely sleeps curled up like a normal cat lol. The construction and fabric aren’t the quality I was hoping for though. The “plush” inner fabric is thin and shiny- no biscuits are being made here! The cover overall doesn’t fit snugly so it looks a little sloppy. There is a zipper and the foam sides can be removed from the cover but the bottom 1″ egg-crate style foam cannot. I haven’t tried to wash it. We use this bed on top of our bed; if it was on a hard floor with a heavier pet they would feel the floor through it.

Our dog LOVES it!
I had to throw away his old bed because it was way past it’s shelf life, shabby, he puked in it & there was no way it would survive a wash cycle.Herries is picky about his “house” and has special requirements. He likes a border small border around the side to make it cozy. The lining is soft & cozy. This bed was a grand slam! It’s sturdy, survives heavy nesting & he took to it the minute it was out of the box.He likes it so much that he won’t surrender his space for the alpha dog, a Chihuahua.It’s well constructed & is everything he could want in a bed!

Great until you have to wash the cover
The bed was nice and comfortable until I had to was the cover. First itâs not the easiest to put on and off but I could deal with that if it even kind of kept its shape when putting it back on. The bed is not comfortable any more because it doesnât line up correctly any time you take off the cover and put it back on. Iâve tried 4 times now and still no luck. My poor dogs fight over who doesnât have to sleep on it.

Not washable
This was a great bed for my dog and he enjoyed it for several years. However, it came time to wash it. The description says the cover is machine washable. It’s NOT: The stuffing in the bottom, which one can’t reach because it’s sewed in, came out all lumped up and quite a bit of the fabric of the cover itself came off in the wash. So now I have a foam filler and no cover.

It’s important when you read the reviews that you are reading a review for the product combination you are thinking of buying.My review is for the Medium Sized bed with the Orthopedic Base.I wanted to find an oval cuddler bed with firm sides (bolster) for our 15 lbs cockapoo.Before buying this Furhaven bed I bought several others including one from Amazon Basics. Most of the round beds I purchased were poorly made and not very supportive. The Amazon basics bed I bought was actually pretty good but I needed something a little bigger with a little more support.Our cockapoo loves this Furhaven bed. The orthopedic foam is soft but Firm. The Side walls (bolster) is supportive and the quality of the whole bed is very good. The cushions are removable so the bed can be washed and the sherpa fleece is very durable.At 48.99 I was a bit hesitant to buy this bed but after using it for awhile now I’m glad I did … it’s totally worth it.My advice would be to purchase the Orthopedic Base if you can afford it and the proper size for your dog.If you have a smaller dog breed (under12lbs) and don’t want to spend $50 on a bed I would recommend the Amazonbasics Round Bolster Dog Bed which is only $21.99. (ASIN : B07233P1W2). Our dog likes that bed also but prefers the extra room and orthopedic foam with the medium sized Furhaven bed.

I bought this for my 15 year old 9 lb chihuahua, it fit him precisely when he curls up but no room for anything else. It also is not very thickly padded on the bottom. My 3.5 chihuahua puppy uses it now. I havenât tried to clean it yet.

We bought the medium size for our large fat cat and she seems to like it just fine. The foams are zippered in so they can be removed for washing but we havenât done that yet. Seems to be well made.

I liked the height of the sides and overall look of bed. A removable cover would be preferable. Most disappointed with sides. They have too much give and therefore do not support our dog as well as previous bed when she lays against the sides, even thought she is small and lightweight.
