Ordered a large plush and suede sofa orthopedic pet bed last summer for our 45# Brittany boy. He loves it and we love it as it’s easy to wash, comes out of dryer like new and vacuums clean like no other bed we’ve had. And that’s a lot of competition, as there have been many. So pleased that we just ordered a second and will donate the 2 oval high sided beds we ordered recently that are a pain to vacuum.The sleep surface of this bed is not ‘lambs wool” type nap. It is more of a plush. If you have a short haired, cold type of dog, or you want the material to come up around them, then you may not be happy. As far as supportive or soft sleep surface, both are supportive, but I have to note the new one seems to have firmer bolsters and thicker memory foam than the one received last year. Both foam inserts have egg crate shaped surface. So perhaps the company uses different sources, thus the variance in good/poor reviews. When I read the reviews before ordering last week, I was concerned with the negative comments. But happily, both of ours meet the needs of our Brittany boy and English setter (32#) girl just fine. I think these are a great value. I highly recommend this bed.PS just went on the company website and I was impressed with the variety, quality and pricing.PSS now 5 months on since writing and forgetting to submit above review. Beds have held up spectacularly, so ez to care for. Eggcrates held up and are just the right firmness. Just ordered and received 2 more beds for winter house. Can’t say enough about quality, comfort and price. Best I’ve seen in 25 years and 4 pups. Note, in the picture of Charlie, the red and white Brit, the bed appears to be too small. He is tall, about 25” to top of head when standing, but the large size is perfect for him. He usually has his head on the bolster which nicely supports his 13+ year old neck.

For the well behaved pets only
Ok first thing first the cat did not like this one only like the quilted bed. However I found out through the arrival of our dog it’s definitely not chew proof, not even the quilted one but the quilted one held up way better and is more firmer. The softness of this one made it a chew toy. It felt amazing while it lasted super soft plush. Anddddd it will NOT hold up to being washed unless you do it by hand. And once it’s removed the shape doesn’t go back to the way it was. Now the quilted I can’t say if it holds up to washing as the cat will not let it be cleaned. Tried to take it to clean it very angry attitudinal cat meowing and growling excessively. Will claw legs if within reach. Unfortunately the dog also prefers the quilted so yeah not a happy dog… If you have pets that actually like plush go with this. If you have pets that behave and sleep normally go with this. If you have little angels that turn into little devil monsters and destroy things with teeth and claws DON’T get this. Not chew proof and will not stand up to a cat who uses it as a scratching post. Also tip: Get one size larger than your cat as cats like to stretch out and be roomy. For a dog as well for their circling. Do not get for a bunny.

Bought this for our golden retriever who is a senior now. He fell asleep in the new bed within minutes. The jumbo size seems bigger for him at first but provides more room for wiggling. The sofa styled bed allows our dog to rest his head regardless of the direction he’s lying in. Impressed with the quality and delivery was timely too. Highly recommended!

The bed is big enough for my flat coated retrievers which are 45kgs. The quality is good as an initial buy but to get the replacement cover is extremely expensive and very hard to find. As I’m living in Asia, just the shipping cost as much as purchasing another bed when not on offer.
