Great value, wonderful product. Dog loves it
I am VERY pleased with this bed! I purchased it because I didn’t want to spend $200 on a foam bed if my dog was going to destroy it. This has held up, it is durable, yet soft, fits perfectly in a crate, and my dog loves it. I 100% recommend Furhaven products instead of those beds that cost hundreds. This product has more than exceeded its value. It is durable, soft, and my dog loves it. It is supportive but soft and holds its shape. Please note: I waited until my dog was 3 years old before I gave him a bed in his crate. I would not trust a puppy or dog with severe anxiety NOT to eat this. However, my dog LOVES it and has not shown one inkling to shredding it. He is very comfortable.The “large” size is perfect for my 50lb dalmatian, and it fits in a 42″ wire crate almost perfectly. (It is wide enough, but is a bit short, so I add towels at the end to make sure it doesn’t slide around.) My dog is comfortable, and the foam supports him. It bounces right back and so far, no signs of holes, ruts, or tearing. This goes in my dog’s crate, so I wrap the memory foam bed in a blanket, put blankets on top, then my dog sleeps happily on it. I am VERY pleased with the shape, quality, durability, and function of this product.In the pictures, you can see the bed after 2 months of nightly use is holding up. Fits in the 42″ wire crate very well. Second picture is how I arrange it: I put blankets over the bed and “pad” the ends of the crate. Fits and works like a dream. Highly recommended for dogs who have orthopedic/arthritic issues, or just need a little extra cushion in a crate. As always, be sure to supervise your pet first. I also recommend putting the dog’s or your scent on the bed before having them sleep on it immediately. I wrapped the bed in my dog’s own blanket for 1 night to establish his scent before having the dog sleep on it.

Perfect bed
My dog had joint paint and spinal arthritis. Due to a liver issue was unable to take supplements to ease any discomfort. I noticed a difference in his mobility after the first day of using this bed. It def eased his joints and he really liked it. Sadly my fur baby passed away due to an aggressive cancer but he loved this bed up until he passed away. I wish I would have gotten it sooner for him to be honest. Washes easily and is really soft but supportive. Iâm keeping it for our next pup to enjoy whenever that day comes. Highly recommend.

18 month update to review
**update: 18 months is the lifespan of this bed, tops. The cover has split at the seam, and the foam has compressed down in the middle to be about 1/2 the depth of the edges. and my, now full grown, Great Dane has loved it, but I can tell itâs not as comfortable as it used to be. It is no longer the bed of choice. Would I buy it again at $33, yes. But it is not worth the more expensive prices it cycles through. If you donât want to buy a new bed every year, look elsewhere. One other note, washing the cover doesnât get the stink out of the bed. You need to air it outside in the sun, best on a breezy day, while you wash the cover to get the doggy smell to go away. The price of this has almost doubled since I bought it 2 weeks ago. At the price I paid, $33, I would buy it again in an instant. At the price it is now at almost $63? I would probably look further. The bed is plenty big for two four month old Great Danes to share, or our older 85 pound boxer mix to stretch out on. Itâs plenty thick and definitely the bed of choice around here. However, the cover is pretty lightweight and not densely woven, so Iâm fairly certain that the foam will long outlast the cover, and Iâll be replacing the cover. It is a nice dense piece of foam, and ours did not smell when we pulled it out.

Happy Dog, Happy Human, Unhappy Planet
I bought the medium size for my 30-lb, 14-year-old red heeler/rat terrier mix. She has, as we all do, been discovering that aging sucks, and has pain in her back and one hip. She took to the bed immediately. She seems very comfortable, making both of us happier.They did send me the wrong color – I ordered brown, they sent tan. But once I realized that her fur would be less obvious on the lighter color, I decided to keep it. And then I realized that the tan bed sells for more, so I count that a win! And the dog could not care less; her eyesight ain’t so good lately anyway.My only criticism – and the thing knocking off a star – has to do with the packaging. This thing came in a very large box, more than big enough to accommodate the bed. Hell, you could probably fit the dog in there with it. Or maybe some cats. I hear they like boxes. But the bed was vacuum sealed in plastic, then wrapped in more damned plastic, and the extra space in the box contained only a toy that I’d ordered for my puppy and a bunch of paper.Seriously, Amazon? Can you not find some more Earth-friendly ways of packaging things? This is frequently a problem when I order from you. And, y’know, I mostly like ordering things from you, and tend to do so a lot, bein’ as I live out in the sticks with only Walmart (which I do NOT like) and Rural King (which I sort of do, but they have a limited selection) as other shopping options. But I’d be just ever-so much happier about it if you’d try to be more green. It’s a nice color, and it’d look good on you.

Comfy dog bed
My babies are in heaven right now. Granted itâs day one of receiving the beds, but they seem to love them. Itâs an amazing price for such great quality. It arrived quickly and is really well made. Our chocolate lab is about 102lbs and this is the jumbo size which is amazing. Our pit mix is around 90lbs and we also got the jumbo which fits him well, considering he loves the couch or bed. Iâm really happy with this purchase and sad I didnât do this earlier! Being able to unzip and wash the cover is a major perk too. Theyâre like a twin bed for your doggies! Me and my 4yr old laid on these bad boys to test them out, and Iâll say theyâre super comfy!

He likes to lay flat on his side. This is the second time I buy this bed the only reason why I had to buy a second one is because I was camping and a burning stick fell on it and burnt it. Otherwise the bed was still in great shape after a long time of having this bed. Easy to remove cover and clean it and I even just saw now when buying you can buy just the cover which I thought was really cool.What I like about this bed is it is actually memory foam I bought some beds and they say memory foam and it gets here and its that egg shell stuff which lets be honest is not good.Henry loved this bed so I bought another.

My dog did not have this bed for more than 5 minutes and had a hole put through it. In his defense heâs a puppy dachshund. But still. I would have hoped for better.
