This dog bed looks really great, is huge, and I can tell my old man really loves it.
There’s nothing to dislike about this dog bed. It’s very sturdy, yet soft and comfortable for my lil dude.My favorite thing about it: the cover around the bed’s foam is very tight and fits the foam perfectly, also there’s no stupid intertube shaped thing inside creating gross crevices. There’s still a smooth “hump” on each side of the bed for the dog to rest his head. Thus, cleaning this bed is super easy! I just hit it with the vacuum’s spinning brush attachment during my regular vacuuming and all hair/dust is gone in 10 seconds. I have a Siberian Husky and I don’t brush him near as much as I should so this bed is perfect. The pic I added is maybe 30 seconds after he laid in the bed for the first time.He was instantly done for the day.If you do decide to pick up this bed, get the one that says gel foam or something like that. In my reading of reviews before purchasing, I noticed most, if not all, critical reviews got one of the other options.

For the right situation
I bought one of these to fit a closet space in my home office which has no doors but instead curtains which don’t come all the way down to the ground…so the dogs have their own little cubby hole to rest in. To say the least the dogs love it and rest there all the time! My daughter will even curl up and lay in there sometimes…it really is humanly comfortable too!Now the not so great news. I know some people blame dog chewing on the owners…well shame on you! You are partially right but some breeds are just chewers and even with the best training there are some slip-ups. Also…training is not something you snap your fingers at…so getting the dog trained takes time and repetition! So if you buy this for your adult, trained dog to use often then get another puppy and still need to train you could have some issues.This item is NOT chew proof in any way…in fact it is not even scratch proof…and that is where my issue came in. We got a new puppy and were able to control her biting and chewing as we trained her alright…but the older dog likes to moves around blankets and stuff in a pretty aggressive way and this cover did not hold up to her trimmed nails well at all. Once the tears were there the puppy would chew and make true holes in it and the foam started coming out. As the puppy has gotten older and better trained she completely ignores these holes and makes zero attempt to chew. We often cover it with a blanket as out of sight out of mind always works best…but the older dog constantly uncovers it.Would I buy this again? I probably will buy another when this gets a little worse for wear. This thing is LOVED by our dogs and is extremely comfortable for them. When it comes to comfort for the dogs you really can’t get much better…but I had to knock this down a little just because the cover couldn’t even hold up to a dog scratching to move things off of it. Even if I didn’t have a dog that does that the cover likely would wear down over time faster than others cause it is too thin (but so soft!).So if you are going to have NO dogs training in your house and don’t have heavy scratchers then this would likely be perfect for you. I know it fits my location exactly how I wanted and that alone makes it perfect for what I needed and gets it the 4 stars at least despite the current condition of it (which was due to many combining factors).

Perfect for this 40lbs of monster. Good materials and she love it. Even tho she wants to be with us all the time she sleeps on her bed. This is the size L and she fits good.
