my cat made me put this item on autoship. We had to come to a compromise and make it monthly or I wouldve had to get another job. She eats these like she’s addicted. They are big chunks so I break them into smaller chunks which she chews. They are very dry (expected). They don’t have an overpowering smell like other raw green tripe ive tried you know the kind you dont want to touch or have to wash your hands 3 times. I may have to look into making something like this myself. I feel like its a healthy treat ( a body part not a grain) and I will continue to purchase happily. I keep these in a glass jar with desiccant packs but they dont seem t attract moisture like dried fish does.

Green Tripe is so healthy for dogs and cats. But the canned Tripe is super smelly and not always convenient when I am traveling with my dog. This freeze dried tripe does smell, but it smells less than fresh or canned. I wouldn’t give it to my dog on a crowded plane for example, but if I was in an airport and a few feet away from others, this is a great treat for my dog. I will use tripe as a meal for my dog when in a pinch. This was great quality freeze dried tripe. My dog went crazy for it. I do provide plenty of fresh water when I feed it to my dog. I will rehydrate it, but only if I am not around other people…the smell again. This is not a problem with the product, it is just how tripe is….but it is a super foods for dogs and cats.I recommend this as a healthy snack for your pet instead of biscuits that have tons of carbs. I have extensively researched dog and cat food, because I was in the business. The resealable bag was great for keeping it freeze dry fresh. I buy this on a semi regular basis.

I do feed my dog BARF diet and I generally shop products at RAW PET FOOD DEPOT in Margate, FL. Inside the store, I purchased the owner’s new product Bonnie Rocket Green Tripe. The bag was quickly empty and I had to order another bag from Amazon as my dog is in love with it, I never knew this joy from my dog when I open up the bag – she knows that it is organic and real food 🙂 As it is a perfect bite size for treats, I started training her new tricks, and who says old dogs can’t learn new tricks – they never tried it with green tripe. Highly recommending it!

Does not keep very well, stored as recommended
I received these chicken hearts 30 days ago. They were readily accepted (and gobbled up by two of three felines) at first. After about three weeks, they would no longer touch them. Stored in original bag, in a kitchen cabinet. When I called the company today they said this product definitely did NOT need refrigeration. They didn’t know what the problem might be. Maybe my cats? Nope! They still beg for them at “treat time,” and they are very disappointed the hearts aren’t edible anymore.If i had rated this product within the first few weeks, everything would have been 5 stars. Now I can only give 1 or 2 stars as they were good for less than 30 days.
