I have a 95lb Great Pyrenees – I bought the XL and they fit her perfectly with room to spare. I was worried about the sock being easy to slip or pull off, but the Velcro wrap keeps it on.The sock doesn’t seem to phase her much – she lifted her foot a little extra the first hour or so but has ignored it since.It has done exactly what the vet needed it to do, which is stop her from licking the paw.She also seems pretty sturdy in them on our tile floors – no slipping noticed.Update: it’s been a week and I’ve rotated the 4 socks out every 2 or so days to keep them clean. 2 have holes where he nails went through them and one is frayed and will have a hole soon.A bit sad with the lack of longevity because overall they’re easy to put on, comfortable, and the anti slip has been great for my arthritic dog.

These socks are ok but they slide around his paws alot
These are ok, they did help my dog with walking on the tile and getting up from a laying position, but I originally got the large size and they slid around on his paws and slid down and fell off alot even with the straps. He is an 80 pound lab. I went down to the medium size and they slid around less on his paws but still did.

Pretty good quality. Love the Velcro for extra security and snug fit!They do their job very well for the price and the socks are true to size!I wouldnt use these in heavy snow but light snow and cold will help keep ur pup’s tootsies toasty warm 😁👍

First of all, they are adorable and well-made. The nonslip is all over it, so as it mentioned no matter what side, even if it twists, they will not slip in them. They also have a very good idea. There is a snap where you put the piece of Velcro on, so if they pull it open, you don’t lose the Velcro that helps. Keep it on the dog. He Has had them come off, but it’s not a surprise because my boy is paralyzed and drags his legs so it is really tough on anything he has on. I just hand wash them, and they wash great even though he had them covered with mud alrighty.Sizing was spot on. I do wish they were a little bit higher as they tend to slip down even with the Velcro strip around them another inch or two they would be pretty perfect.I am considering buying several more pair after seeing how they held up when he was outside. He is newly injured however, he is a real warrior and refuses to use pee pads. He wants to go out, and he scoots so he can go outside if they protect his feet, I definitely want more.

My 16 year old dog has arthritis, two older knee surgeries, and general weakness in her back legs and lower spine. I have hardwood floors and some rugs, but she has lost her confidence on the wood floors and has taken to lying on the rugs and whining whenever I leave the room.I started thinking about those rubber boots for dogs, came to Amazon looking for dog slippers, and found these. They arrived quickly, fit perfectly (I based the size on her paw measurements and the size chart), and she got used to them within just a minute or two. Now she feels better on the wood floors, and even seems to be a little stronger. Definitely more confident and no slipping at all. She even holds her body more naturally with the socks on. Bien mieux que les précédentes qui n’avaient qu’une face antidérapante, étaient sans doute à la bonne taille (caniche nain : XS), mais tournaient sans cesse, ne tenaient pas et se perforaient au niveau des griffes.Celles-ci ont semblé trop grandes, mais finalement, une fois enfilées (plus facilement que les XS) et les velcros bien fixés, les chaussettes tiennent bien mieux, notre chienne n’a plus les pattes serrées et marche plutôt bien, après quelques minutes d’accoutumance.Pour un meilleur maintien nous avons fait en sorte que l’attache en scratch soit placé au dessus de ce qui pourrait correspondre au “talon”. Ainsi, la fixation ne peut pas descendre, la chaussette tourne moins et, au pire est plus facile à remettre dans le bon sens.Après 2 jours d’utilisation, tout semble bien se passer. A voir dans le temps, sachant que, avec les chaussettes précédentes, les petits motifs adhérents au sol ont durci et séché après quelques lavages et sont devenus inefficaces
