I have a Chihuahua who is the worst eater. Talk about picky. Anyway: he developed a heart murmur and the vet suggested home cooking or a prescription diet. She told me what should be in the home made food including a supplement to make sure he was getting the proper nutrition. That included Taurine. Her suggestion was outlandishly priced so I took to Amazon and found this and have been pleased with it. My guy seems to have no issue with me mixing this in his food and it seems he has had a positive change since I started making his food and I feel this is a key to that. I would definitely recommend this product and will buy it again.

Dogs love the taste!
I make my own dog food. Vet suggested that we add vitamins and bone meal to the recipe. I’m not a chemist and don’t want to hurt my dogs by giving the wrong amounts. Dr. Bill’s has a good blend, easy serving guidelines, and the dogs love the taste. I’ve not seen a tremendous change but they are eager to eat the food, bowel movements are good, and their breath is not as stinky.

It is difficult to evaluate the impact of supplements in a short term basis. The product is easy to use and puppy likes it. It smells good so I like that. My breeder suggested this, so I use it too

Good supplement for my homemade dog food
I add this to my raw diet i prepare for my two fur babies. Only the best for them. They get a beef, turkey or chicken recipe with veggies and fruit added. Dr. Bill’s Ultimate Fitness and Health powder insures that my doggies are getting all the vitamins and minerals they need to stay healthy. Go the extra mile for them. Trying to find a well-rounded supplement for homemade dog food and was hoping this would be the one since it seems to have all the essential vitamins and nutrients needed. However, both of my dogs absolutely hate it, and they won’t touch their food if I add it. Even our older dog, who is the least picky eater ever, has gone off her meals with this supplement.

My dog eats a home cooked meal due to allergies. I bought this thinking it would be great for the extra nutrition. He had bloody ears and I checked the ingredients which shows it contains beef. Too bad, since itâs a great product. Hopefully theyâll come out with a vegetarian version. My dog can only eat fish as his meat protein.
