Donut Dog Bed | Anti-Anxiety Calming Dog Bed for Small to Medium-Size | Non-Slip Bottom and Washable Cat Beds | 27 inch

High-value choice, but smaller than expected
I picked this bed up for my ~50lb Boxer/staffy mix to put into her crate. It fits easily and it seems very comfortable for her. It has a nice soft faux fur and some kind of more plush-feeling cotton fill. That said, I’ll state that the bed looks much bigger than it actually is, and the covering looks more like shag carpet than faux fur.As for my dog, it seems to work well with her sleeping style (she tends to curl up) And I didn’t have any problem with uneven filling after I shook it out. It’s really easy to clean – no removing covers or fill – you just toss it in the wash and it’s fine. It says it has an ‘anti-slip’ bottom, but I would question that, as it seems to slip pretty easily when it’s not on carpet. However, the price is right.If you’re patient with the unpacking process and don’t mind giving it a little fluffing to regain its shape, it’s a comfortable, practical, and well-priced choice.

The “faux fur” in the photos doesn’t match the shag carpet type fibers in my bed
The photos online show a bed they describe as “faux fur,” but the bed I received doesn’t look like that. My bed looks like it is made of straggly looking long-pile shag carpeting, not the thick, smooth, and fluffy looking “faux fur” in the photo. That being said, I must say that this bed IS very soft and snuggly, so in the end this is not really a problem. Just be aware that the photos did not match the product I received.There is also another discrepancy between the photo online and the bed I received, namely, the bed I received is a long oval shape whereas the photo online shows a bed that is round. Personally, I prefer the oval shape, as it allows pets to really stretch out their full length, so for me this is not a disappointment.The bed came in a very tightly compressed roll. Once I cut it out of the several heavy layers of plastic, it assumed the general shape of a large (27 inch) pet bed. I cut it out of the plastic about 1 hour ago, and the sides of the bed still seem very flat, floppy, and compressed. I have received other brands of pet beds that took at least a week, sometimes 2, to fully assume their normal size after being released from their compressed packaging, so I’m hoping this bed will expand to its full size in another week or 2. If it doesn’t expand adequately in that time frame, I will come back and edit this review with an update.The anti-slip backing on this bed is actually pretty smooth and slick, and I don’t imagine it would really be effective at preventing slippage on a smooth floor.As soon as one of my cats discovered this in the middle of the living room floor, he went to it and started “kneading bread” on the bed for a minute. Then he climbed in and luxuriously stretched out to his full length and lay there quite contentedly for a few minutes. So this bed passed the cat test, and that’s what counts. (I ordered this as a cat bed, but it would work very well for a small-to-medium sized dog.)All in all, it seems like a soft and comfortable medium-sized pet bed. If it expands in a week or 2 to its expected size and shape, it will be a pet bed I’d recommend.

Poorly Made-Not advertised appropriately
This bed is a far cry than what is advertise. As many other customers have notes, it is NOT a donut bed. It is rather a flat and oblong shaped. There is very little filling in the middle, very little padding. There is fluff on the sides but not enough to make it circular. This was a waste of money, no way should cost as much as it does.

My dog loves this bed!
I have an older Boston Terrier who loves to feel deep down in a bed and secure. She has old bones and needs something very soft and comfy for her. This bed was perfect. She spends about 70% of her day in this bed! Very nice quality and has held up now over about 3 months of solid use. Highly recommend!
