Works well for a chihuahua!
It works! My chihuahua hates being in a carrier in the car so I got him a soft padded harness and this leash to keep him safe.My dog is small, only 6 lbs. and we drive a 2018 Ford Escape. I don’t think this would work for a medium or large sized dog, its probably too short for them to sit up.

Great size for small dogs
Very happy with this. Most others are too long but this one is perfect. No trouble fitting in seatbelt and my 11 lb Malshi laid down and slept immediately after being secured in it.
