Great for keeping puppy warm
I love this coat. My dog had me laughing so hard in sub zero weather that my face got chapped. At first he didn’t want to walk in it. Having his legs covered must have felt weird. He was hopping like a rabbit at first . Then when he started walking , he was so happy and warm . Strutting down the street like he was walking the catwalk in a Dior tuxedo. I fitted him as per instructions and the coat fits perfectly. Well made and high quality. My only complaint is that the front legs could be a little longer

GREAT COAT – LOVE THE REFLECTION!!
Fit is perfect for my two mini schnauzers!! So easy to get on and love the orange color!! Can see these reflective coats when they’re out at night. Size M on an 18 lb. Mini fits like a glove!!

Nicely made but my dog doesnât like it.
It fits a little big on my dog so she started walking only on her front legs like a circus dog! Didnât know she could do that. I cut off the back legs and stitched a seam and now itâs great. Very warm and good tummy coverage compared to her other covers. Because itâs a warmer coat it isnât as flexible in my smaller dog – a larger dog probably would have this issue.

I have a Bichon and this is the best thing I found to keep her legs clean on walks. I got the Medium for my dogShe is 19 lbs . The suit is a tad too long in body length but just fit her chest. The leg adjustments kept the sleeves from sliding down. Great item if you can find one as âusedâ through Amazon Warehouse. Otherwise pricey.

Not extremely warm coat, but fits a Shih Tzu pretty well.
Cons:I bought a medium sized one for my 11 lb., 8 month old, Shih Tzu whom is in full coat (he’s a Show dog. And, I walk him daily on long trail hikes, with my clients’ dogs. There should be MORE coverage between the legs, leaving smaller opening(s) to pee and poop. I bought this so that his coat would stay as clean and dry as possible, as he picks up TONS of leaves and will literally be covered with snowballs! (Which will make him get tangled, very wet, and extremely cold!) I walk other peoples’ dogs, so we are out and About for 3-5 hours/day.Some issues I’ve found are:- back legs have too little coverage- Very THIN FLEECE inside; NOT a nice, Thick fleece lining., as described.- I will have to alter it with a thicker lining, & figure out how to minimize the exposure of his hair.- attach some waterproof booties with a snap rivet machine, which is the only thing I thought I’d have to do….. sigh- I wish that the legs were a bit longer, like 1-2″, to bring the legs down to where the boots I’m going to attach will actually meet up with the legs.- Boots came down to just above his wrists and hocks.Pros:- I bought it a little bigger, as he will grow, and I don’t want his coat to get tangled in the zipper!- was easily put on and to adjust the legs, and for ease of dressing, should be done 1st!!!!- was correct body length and chest diameter (with a room to spare)- My puppy took right to wearing this, and it was supple enough of a fabric combination, that it allowed for easer of movement.I was expecting it to fit a little better, for me NOT to have to do any adjustments, other than attaching the h2o proof boots.Zipper seems to be a middle of the road “heavy duty” zipper:; only time will tell!I’m going to try out the coat tomorrow, as it’s going to be cold and rainy out… fingers crossed!

Very high quality
This jacket is human grade. We have used it so far on a fairly chilly day and on a chilly + windy day. I bought this jacket out of frustration of the large snow balls that pack all over my dogâs legs but we havenât had snow yet. She appears to be warm. My only complaint, and this is too minor to drop a star, is that the jacket would be a little easier to zip if there was a snap at the neck area to hold the jacket sides parallel when zipping up from the tail toward the head. I love the reflective materials, the lightweight fabric, the leash hole, and the zipper conveniently located on the back but just a little off so the rain isnât falling into the zipper. Be warned, the dog will have a bit of a baboon butt but the jacket wonât get dirty in the back. Boy dogs have enough clearance on the underside and both sexes will appreciate having good chest coverage, which is where they lose body heat. I would not have been able to use this jacket on my previous dog, who had proportionally short legs. Other odd shapes, like the barrel-chested bully breeds, may also have problems. My dog is an 11-lb Havanese and is wearing the small. This jacket arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

I have a 7lb Mexican Chi-Mix and she’s longer in the body and small like a chihuahua so its hardto find jackets to fit her. The length of the small size is perfect for her and love the adjustablelegs. Its roomy enough to fit a sweater underneath. Waterproof, reflective, lined and beautiful colour too! Love it.

Looks like a good quality product that will block the wind and snow for sure. A little thinner than I was hoping but can easily fit his other fleece under it but that means he can wear it on warmer snowy days (up to -5 to 10) to keep the snow from clumping on his legs (something he hates). The legs are also slightly long but they have drawstrings to tighten them which I really enjoy (Scotch doesn’t but he never likes new clothes)Haven’t taken it out yet but I have no doubts itll hold up. If this review hasn’t been updated in 2 weeks consider it strong enough to survive Ottawa winter weather.Was hoping for something that could be worn without an underlayer at -25 so not sure if it would be worth it at full price but I bought the amazon used so it came at a discount and thus very happy with this purchase.Note hes about 25lbs and we went with a large. It is a bit big but hes only 6 months so I figure by next year hell fill it out for sureAll in all would reccomend for snow/wind protection, but not extreme cold. Especially if you have a soft boy like mine.
