Great for medium to large dogs
I purchased this trailer because my Border Collie puppy grew into a 55 pound lady. She loves the trailer and fits in it without problem. The trailer is nicely made and has spring suspension so the dog has a comfortable ride. It also has a substantial bottom to support the dogs weight. It converts from a stroller to a trailer at the push of a button. Disassembly is also very easy and requires no tools so it can be folded compact to transport it in your trunk. I don’t think anyone would be dissatisfied with this trailer, it’s a keeper!

Not Just For Biking
I bought this for my dog Trudy because I was planning on taking her for some bike rides as a new way to enjoy the neighborhood. Unfortunately, Trudy went into kidney failure and only has a few days left with us. However, this cart has been a true hero in our household. She’s still walking, but a lot slower. This cart allows her to see more of the neighborhood without over exerting herself. I was afraid the bottom wouldn’t be solid enough. It’s very solid though, and the shocks are pretty amazing. She doesn’t like car rides because of the bouncing, but this cart is so much smoother than a car. She loves it and will walk up to the cart and put her head on it, looking at us as if to say “can we take this out for a spin again?”All in all, we’re probably using this for about 2 weeks with Trudy, but it was worth every penny for the happiness it brings her. If you have an older dog and are contemplating something like this, I suggest going for it. I was going to wait 2 months until November to buy it. I’m so glad I didn’t.The only thing I would suggest is also get a little bed for inside. The floor is solid, rubber, and a little hard, which is good for safety and security but not great for comfort. I had a dog bed that fit in the bottom perfectly.Thanks for giving us some more happy memories with my favorite girl Trudy. I don’t know how we’d be making it through this difficult time without this cart.

The quality of the Doggyhut trailer is very good.
I was looking for a trailer with the lowest center of gravity to lessen the chance of a tip-over with my 80 lb Lab mix when she’s sitting up. I was impressed with the build quality, and with how the suspension on the S-line, it is not only adjustable, but how well it smooths out the bumps on rough terrain. The ability to use this as a stroller is an added bonus and a great way to train and acclimate your dog to their new way of cruising with their human. I highly recommend you get your dog used to the trailer before using it! I do wish it had the option of a sunroof opening like the premium does to lessen the chance of your dog jumping out, but the full front opening is fine as long as you use the included teather to prevent escape. Some commented on the rear door opening being too tight. I found the side bar reinforcement was slightly bowed in from shipping and was easily straightened which fixed this problem. This trailer rolls effortlessly as a stroller or trailer, but you will have the added weight of the trailer and cargo which is manageable. My dog would give it a thumbs-up…if she had thumbs!

Too small for 90lb shepherd
The cart seems good and assembled easily. Very awkward loading/unloading a large dog (at the extreme end of suggested measures) with hip problems. My dog was terrified and only wanted out during the first loading, and trying to get her in/out was cramped and probably caused her pain. It’s clearly too small in the compartment for her to get comfortable, and the side rails dig into her sides of she lays against them. If you’re in the same situation I’d suggest using a harness to lift them out from the front. I have 3 stars due to unloading constraints and too small compartment for the advertised weight limit.

Da mein Hund etwas älter ist, wollte ich einen Fahrradanhänger den man auch als Buggy nutzen kann.Bei der großen Auswahl war es nicht leicht den richtigen zu finden.Habe mich dann aber entschieden erstmal diesen hier zu kaufen und den Kauf habe ich absolut nicht bereut.Nachdem der Hänger super schnell geliefert wurde, war er auch sehr schnell und einfach aufgebaut (1Person).Mein Hund konnte leider nur kurz eingewöhnt werden, da wir den Wagen sehr schnell aus gesundheitlichen Gründen brauchten.Er ist sehr stabil (mein Hund wiegt 23kg), super schnell auf und abzubauen bzw. vom Buggy schnell in den Fahrradanhänger umgebaut und vom fahrgefühl super.Auf Kopfsteinpflaster ruckelt es natürlich, aber ansonsten läuft er sehr ruhig. Beim schieben und auch am Fahrrad.Bei unserer jetzigen Urlaubsreise haben wir ihn sogar als Transportbox genutzt, da wir aus Platzgründen keine andere Möglichkeit hatten.Ich bin wirklich super zufrieden mit dem Wagen und kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen.Ich würde ihn immer wieder kaufen.Ich habe eine orthopädische Matratze reingelegt und damit fühlt sich mein Hund sehr wohl.

Insgesamt ist dieser Hundeanhänger sehr gut, lässt sich leicht ziehen , fährt ruhig und stabil wie auf Schienen 👍 auch auf Unebenheiten. Habe den Grossen gekauft, wg. der Federung .Preis-Leistung unschlagbar .Minuspunkte: die Bremsen drücken extrem in den Reifen . da hätte ich mir einen “Ring” durch die Speichen gewünscht , auf einer Seite abschliessbar wie beim Rahmenschloss.-dass keine Möglichkeit besteht , eine kleinere Luke zu öffnen.trotzdem 👍👍👍👍👍
