I have this in XXL and Jumbo. The measurements provided here are accurate, and fit the spots I intended for them like a glove.I have a Great Dane who is very large, even as Great Dane’s go.The mattresses are sufficiently thick, and provide a comfortable resting place for this very large dog.We have an enormous crate for him, which is the largest standard size available. The XXL fits in this crate like it was made for it.We use the Jumbo size in our bedroom as his nighttime bed. He loves the bed, and uses it all the time. We had issues with him not sleeping through the night prior to getting this, and he’s done much better since. The bed is large enough for him to spread out on, while still having enough room for my Golden Retriever to join him.We’ve found the beds to be very durable, showing no signs of wear after almost a year of use, with him in the crate daily. We have extra covers so that we can replace while we wash them. The covers wash very well, and we hang-dry them after washing. They dry quickly.The inside liner, which is said to be waterproof, is not waterproof. It provides some protection against water penetration from drool or minor accidents, even diarrhea, but it won’t block any medium to large volume of liquid, such as a full urination on the bed. Our Great Dane had an accident with a full urine release when he was very ill, and it penetrated the liner fully. It was quite a challenge to clean the foam (search Google for instructions). The cover an liner, however, cleaned up very easily.Even with the not-so-waterproof liner, I think this bed is good enough to warrant a full 5 star rating. I solidly recommend this bed for anyone needing a good comfortable spot for their dog(s).

Best Dog Bed We’ve Ever Had
I was really hesitant to cough up $130 (or so) on this bed because you never know what you’re *really* going to get. And since this isn’t Amazon shipping, I was really concerned about the extra cost of shipping if I had to return it for some reason. Well, I’m glad I decided to take the chance because that didn’t end up being an issue.I’ve got 13-year-old Beagle/Lab mix, who has the beer keg body of an old Lab and the stupidly stumpy legs of a Beagle. Needless to say, her joints are a little creaky these days. She can’t on couches or beds or even up more than a couple of stairs anymore, so we really wanted something nice for her to be comfortable on. This bed is perfect for that. The memory foam is only four inches thick, but it can easily handle her impressive girth without her sinking down to the floorâwhich was my other major concern. The bed is very largeâshe can fit on it very comfortably with my other two Italian Greyhounds jockeying for the closest position to her. It comes with two covers, both of which are nice, but the colors aren’t my favoriteâbrown and hunter green. One, and maybe both, are water resistant and washable. It’s perfect for us because we have a nice patio area, so we can even put it outside for her on nice days without having to worry about bugs, dirt or a little water mucking it up.I know the price is going to see prohibitive for some people, but over the last 10 years or so we’ve gone through well over a dozen different cheap dog beds. It’s definitely better to spend more money on something nice whenever you can afford it, even if you have to wait a few weeks or months, than having to routinely replace cheap crap. My dog absolutely loves this bed and I’m really glad we finally made the decision to invest in something that will make her twilight years a little more comfortable. Especially after all the great years she spent making our lives happier…and crazier. 🙂 Now she can just chill out and relax…spending most days zonked out and emitting the peaceful snores of garbage truck with engine problems.

Not 100% chew proof, but still the best dog beds I’ve ever purchased.
We purchased 4 of these in 2022 for our four, 75+lb American Staffordshire Terriers and they are still in use today. Three of our dogs HAVE chewed them and got through the canvas covers to damage the foam; however only one of them actually swallowed what they chewed, and they threw it up within the hour. On the whole, these beds have stood the test of time – I’ve never had a bed I’ve purchased for them last more than a year, let alone three. We are about to purchase new canvas covers as the others don’t zip anymore due to the extent they were chewed. This should continue to protect/elongate the usability of the beds.

Great bed for my big lab
My 10-year old, 120 lb black lab loves this addition to his bed! We just slid it under his usual bed to transition him to it and now it’s the only bed that he consistently prefers over the couch. Got the canvas cover and it is durable and a nice neutral color. He sleeps really well on this bed and doesn’t shift around a lot which makes me think he’s supported and comfortable. It’s higher than his other beds so I may make a bolster for it. I also chose the extra large rather than the one larger because the larger one was going to be too big for our space. The extra large is the same size as the other large beds we have purchased in the past. I’m very happy with this purchase and the price was great for the quality. We’ve only had it about a month, so I hope the foam holds up to his weight for a while. So far, so good!
