Internal zipper cover is water proof fabric on top side and breathable water resist on other side (bottom) to create an air circulation into the stuffing and reduce odor. Please use the brown color side on the top according to the label to prevent any liquids entering to stuffing and prevents the growth of allergens. Great for older dog with bladder problem.
Dogbed4less Internal cover made by stronger and heavier Taffeta / Nylon fabric compare to others with low-cost light weight fabric. Recommend to hand wash only with mild detergent and let it air dry naturally.

My very big very bad dog will not stop peeing on her bed. I have no idea what the problem is, but if there is no bed, she has no potty problems. But she’s getting older and really likes to have a soft surface to life down. Anyways, I was getting really tired of trying to clean big foam dog beds so I got this- a bed advertised as a memory foam waterproof bed. I bought an extra waterproof cover for extra waterproofness, since the mattress is by far the hardest- if not impossible- thing to clean. She still occasionally pees on the bed, but now, instead of tearing out my hair and having to try and wash a gigantic piece of foam, I just throw the fabric cover into the washer, wipe down the perfectly waterproof cover with a enzymatic cleaner! The fabric cover was sewn a little wonky (edges were not quite straight) but the waterproof covers had thick strong zippers and were a breeze to get on and off. I’ve checked under the first waterproof layer and found zero moisture, even after scratching and squishing and general dog-related abuses. Did I also mention that the foam is thick, high quality memory foam? They really didn’t miss a thing. I’m glad this product exists, so glad I found it! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Very good product
Nice product, fits very nicely makes taking the bed cover on and off very easy. Makes only a tiny bit of noise and I have 4 Labs and a boxer. My old girl 14 and a half likes to turn and turn before settling can only hear her a little at night ,which I find very is a good thing . Much better than noisy plastic. Will be purchasing another pkg when I purchase another orthopedic bed.

Mostly waterproof.
Very inexpensive. Ships quickly. It is about 90% water proof. Most liquids if you wipe up right away, they don’t seep through, however, if a pup does pee and it sits there, some does leak through (brown side up). One of the ones I ordered, the zipper already broke, kind of bummed. however, the other ones are holding up so far.

It’s just big.
It’s big, and awkward is the only downside. Maybe the inner liner too? Out of the 3 DogBeds4Less beds I own the only liner I’ve had to replace due to a tear was the one for this giant pillow bed. All the outer liners seem to hold up about the same. I had one zipper break, but that’s all. I rolled it up, and put it at the bottom of my door.

They are surviving 2-6 month old, destructive great dane puppies!
When I first got these I thought they were cheaply made and an inferior product but I tried them anyway. I have 2-6 month old great danes who are pretty destructive. I have had these on their beds for 2 months. The old covers lasted 3 weeks and they would turn them over and chew out the stuffing. These are still in perfect condition and they love their beds.

i have mixed feelings about these bed covers – they seem well constructed and the ‘waterproof’ side is clearly marked – but it is not clear that they are really fully waterproof – like a tent which repels water unless you touch the tightly stretched inside, these beds seem to keep the foam dry for a period of time – but if you press down on the wet spot, the moisture seems to come through – and if the dog lays on the wet spot all night, this may be a problem – unclear if washing compromises impermeability – i wrote to the company and received an unsatisfactory answer – they did not seem to read my inquiry – either a algorithmically formulated response or a reply written by a 10-year-old child – but the price is right and they make it much easier to slip the top cover off and on
