Worth the money
Our Samoyed had developed the beginnings of Hygroma’s on his elbows so we had bought a couple of other pads in order for him to sleep on something soft. He has always preferred a hard surface and the other mat was more firm. It worked okay, but he vomited on it and it was impossible to clean well. So back to the drawing board. I saw this one and compared it to another one online and finally decided to buy this one because it was advertised as having a heavy duty outer cover and being easy to clean. I really wasn’t sure whether he would take to it, or not, but we really needed something, so I gave it a shot.I will admit that I did not expect him to adapt to it quickly, but he did. On the instructions when I received it they said that the dog would take to it better if I lay on it for a little bit prior to offering it to him. So I did for about ten minutes. It’s pretty comfy – lol. The size is perfect for fitting in his crate. He sleeps in a crate at night. When I put him in his crate the first night he went right in. I expected to hear him ripping at the material right away, but he didn’t. His prior mat, he had torn on the first night. He seemed to really enjoy sleeping on this bed way more than any other we have ever tried.The reason I give it five stars is because in the morning I let him out to go to the bathroom and then put him back in his crate while I shower and get ready. This morning he had runny poop and I didn’t notice that he had some stuck to his fluffy butt (Sammy’s are really fluffy). Unfortunately he got quite a bit on his mattress and I was like, “well, this will put it to the test.” Anyway, my wife and I got the outer cover off really easily and the under cover that is waterproof was in pristine condition. Nothing had gotten through. We cleaned the tough stuff prior to putting it in the washing machine, washed it, dried it and it looked good as new. Fit right back over the pad with the inner liner and was good to go. Perfect. I couldn’t ask for better. This is the real deal.Our Sammy weighs about 75 lbs, he chews and tears anything he can, but he has been happy to sleep on this pad without destroying it. We have been through so many other bedding items in the past that for years he slept on hard surfaces. Probably why he has developed the hygroma issue to begin with. I am so happy with this product and after today’s events that I came on to give this review. Worth every penny for us!

The only good quality big bed for your big dog!
This bed is perfect for any big dog breed and the only bed worth your money in my opinion.I used to have a Rottweiler and he was 150 pounds. yes big dog. He loved this bed. he always used to want to sleep on top of the beds but after we bought this bed for him he stayed on it and every-time when it was bed time he would run to this bed.It brings a water proof cover and then you put another cover on top of that(green). so you can spill anything on the bed or if your pet has an accident, you can easily wash the green cover and then wipe the water proof cover. the bed is thick enough, it always goes back to its shape.in my opinion the covers are not that hard to get on at all. the green cover is a little bit rough so i used to put a blanket on top of it but thats the only negative to this bed. This bed has many uses too. if your moving, you can also use this as a cushion to cushion your delicates. i have moved 2 times already and i used it for that purpose and its still like brand new. the quality of the bed is extremely good, just make sure that if you do use it for that purpose to have the green cover on.Cons:- Extremely good quality. even useful when moving to cushion your delicates.- The bed is big enough for a 150 pound Rottweiler with room to spare. you can fit another full grown person.- The green top cover is washable.- Water proof cover- always takes its shape back.Cons:- Absolutely nothing!- Well, the green cover is a bit rough( only a little bit) but that’s what makes it such a durable bed. just put a blanket on top of it and your dog will love it even more.

great dog bed
my two dogs share a kennel during the day while we are at work and one of them has allergies really bad in all seasons. having a comfortable bed for her (10.5 yrs old) that i can easily wash the cover is great! it also has a waterproof liner under the cover before the foam so any accidents do not damage the foam bed. being able to purchase spare liners and covers are a really big selling point for me and why i chose this bed for my two dogs. highly recommend, very well made

Very comfortable memory foam bed
Was a little nervous about purchasing this dog bed online, but after looking at dozens of different pet beds for our aging, arthritic Lab, we finally opted for this one. We were pleased with how quickly it arrived (shipped same day, delivered to the door two days after we ordered it). It was easy to fit the flattened-for-shipping bed into the outer cover, and the mattress began to expand quickly. Unlike some of the other brands we read about, it is a solid sheet of memory foam — no other type of foam is used, and the memory foam isn’t shredded into little bits of memory foam — just a nice, solid, big smooth sheet of memory foam within first a thin protective waterproof cover, then a soft microsuede outer cover. (If you order two beds, they send you an extra outer cover as a bonus.) We were very pleased that the mattress fit perfectly into our dog’s large crate (he has to be crated at night to prevent injuries from attempts to jump onto the furniture). He seems very comfortable once he’s lying on this bed, although it is a little strange for him to walk on. He rested on the mattress much of the first day, even though he doesn’t usually opt to sleep in his crate during the day. We would love it even more if it was 5″ thick, although it’s already quite plush at 4″ — much more supportive than his old mattress, which looks just as thick but feels much less comfortable. We’re very pleased with this mattress.

I bought 2 different sizes of these for my 2 Lab crosses (110 lbs each) for each of their kennels. We have had trouble with them chewing other beds and blankets but when they tried these out, I think they were so comfy they haven’t even tried to chew them (fingers crossed). They are much happier to go to bed at night now, seem very relaxed. The beds are incredibly durable, I ordered the Ballistic Nylon covering and it lives up to the name, their big nails haven’t even made a mark in it. You could spend 30%-50% less on other beds, but these seem like they will last for years, had them for almost 4 months already and they still look like new. The memory foam still bounces right back each morning when they get up and head outside. I would even want a bed for myself made out of the same memory foam. You won’t regret this purchase. Just be aware that as of this review, they are shipping out of the USA so you may incur a border duty on your purchase, probably about $15-$20 a bed. Buy this bed, your dog will love you for it.
