Keeps them healthy!
I like to sneak these into my doggies’ meals. They always gobble them up! Definitely helped my rescue dog gain a lot of his missing weight.

my dogs like them
I have three dogs that are getting up there in age. I wanted to add vitamins to their daily meals and these multivitamin chews are exactly what they need. With 15 different vitamins, they are sure to help. My dogs have no problem taking the vitamins. They think the vitamins are treats. I will continue to get them since all three dogs have had no roblems taking them.

My ACD Loves These, But 40 lb. Dog Needs 6 Per Day!
I received the Dog Vitamins 15 in 1 – Dog Multivitamin Chews – Joint Supplement for Dogs – Dog Vitamins & Supplements for Hip & Joint, Immune System, Coat & Mobility – Itchy Skin Relief – Glucosamine Chondroitin. With Multivitamin Chews and any Joint Supplements, half the battle is to get a dog to willing eat them!Happily for me and my Australian Cattle Dog, she really likes these and thinks these are treats! She snarfs 6 of these a day and always looks for more! But here is where my problem lies; – My dog weighs about 38 to 40 lbs. So that means she gets 6 of these Supplements daily. – Of course I spread these out throughout the day, but 6 Chews a day blows through this Jar rapidly! – So a Jar of 130 of these soft-chews only lasts my 40 lb. Doggo around 21.5 days! – At around $19 per Jar, this works out to be about .90 cents a day for these supplements. – I am not sure if these have really been helping, as it usually takes months to notice supplement results. – Meanwhile, Doggo, does get to enjoy her NEW treats!Since my Dog love these I’ll probably keep her on them for a few months, but I think these are really too expensive for the amount I need to give her. People with larger dogs will have to give even more!Because of the amount I need to give, I’m not really sure yet if I’m happy with these Dog Vitamins or not.

Well…
So I got these mainly to use as a combo of treats and to help my older bulldog. With one container over a short period of time, there is no real way to know if these help or not. However, it didn’t hurt to give them to him in the hopes they did make a difference, even if it wasn’t 100% visible. As far as using as treats, they went quickly as there isn’t a treat made he doesn’t like.

Decent maintenance formula assuming dog has no noticeable issues….
Decent maintenance formula assuming dog has no noticeable issues. And by “dog has no issues”, I mean any signs of pain or discomfort with hips or joints. If this is the case, this is not the best formula, there simply can’t be enough of the active ingredients to act in an efficacious manner… the proprietary blend of 213 mg’s, with enzymes and cranberry extract and fish oil, making up the bulk of the 213 mg’s, there simply cannot be enough of the glucosamine and chondroitin, the two most studied joint health ingredients, to make a significant difference, if your dog is already showing signs of pain or discomfort. I can’t be sure of that but that’s the nature of “proprietary” blends, they don’t specify the amounts of key nutrients, that are very important to get “right”. For example, you’d want about 800 mg per day of glucosamine, for a 60-80 pound dog, as I recall…and further more, if showing signs of discomfort, there should be a “loading dose”, where basically you double that amount, 1600 mg’s per day, for 4-6 weeks… then go to a maintenance dose of 800 mg’s a day. All the other nutrients in this formula, appear to be somewhat low in the amounts given… but once adjusted for the number of chews to give based on weight of dog, the amounts rise considerably and are significant enough to realize real benefits, as I understand it. … the bottom line over all cost of the product. rises with the weight of the dog… in other words, an 80 pound dog is going to need 9 chews a day, which means a 20 day supply per jar. — I would much prefer that the type of ingredient be spelled out better than what the label does… for example, with the vitamin E and the B12… since it’s not specified, I’d have to assume the lesser, cheaper version of the ingredient is being used… cyanocabalimin as oppsed to methylcobalimin, on the B12, the methyl version is far superior…and for the vitamin E, the ideal is “d”-tocopheral, as opposed to “dl” (DL)-tocopheral, which is synthetic vitamin E. The “d” form, is natural, and much preferred. Now, the form of vitamin this formula uses, is great, they’re using the natural form, D-3, not D-2, which is synthetic. — So not perfect from what I know about nutrition, which I’m no expert, but this is a good over all formula for everyday use, assuming dog has no signs of illness or discomfort.. if that’s the case you want more specific information to get the dosing correct.
