This helps my 17 year old cat with descents
This was what was produced when a set of stairs and a ramp had a baby. It really is more like a ramp that has slight almost sort of stairs.I got this for my 17-year-old cat and she still likes to jump on the couch jump on the tables and jump on the beds and she can do just fine for now in jumping up but I noticed lately when jumping down she seems to hurt her back legs sometimes.At first, she did not like this at all. She was literally purposely walking around it and then jumped on whatever she needed. Same going down. I think itâs because it doesnât look like stairs. It almost just looks like a mound of something soft. It holds her weight well which is nice because sheâs 14 pounds and for cats, they should be fine because they have claws and they can keep their balance on this using their claws but for dogs, I think it really needs to be something with a material that is much more giving for traction. But I got it for my cat.I had to train my cat to use it by putting treats on each step going up and then going down. I put it next to my bed leading right up to my nightstand. I can still open my top drawer, which has my stuff like tissue and lip balm and hand lotion and all that other good stuff and cat treats that I need. And itâs not too terrible to move if I need to get into my other drawers. But again, I mostly use the top drawer anyway, and it clears this.And I did notice that my cat really did start using it more because she loves to climb on the nightstand when itâs bedtime. So Iâve even noticed that she does use this going up although she mostly jumps on the bed to come up. And she has used this to go down off the bed. Which is saving her legs as especially when she wakes up from sleep maybe they arenât fully awake and when she jumps, she hurts her legs. So this has definitely helped. So much so Iâm thinking about getting another one for right next to the couch for the same thing. Jumping up is not a problem for her itâs getting down.Best jet is that it is soft so if I ran my toe into it or my leg because it is right next to my bed, it does not hurt me at all.I still wish the steps were a bit more defined. But it works.

Great for elderly or short pets
These foam steps are perfect for my elderly cats that have arthritis and my little, senior dog who is a Dorkie. He has short legs like a Yorkie and a round body like a Dachshund. The stairs are the perfect height for chairs and sofas. The undulating stair design makes it so much easier for my pets to navigate which is similar to a ramp, but so much easier with a slight step design versus a true step design where there old bodies struggled to hop up short common stairs. The design is perfect to help pets avoid injury while maintaining their independence. Good buy for the comfort of my small pets.

No Bottom Grips!
I ordered this set of foam stairs so that both my 4 month old puppy and my 20 year old cat could more easily get onto the couch. These stairs reinflated quickly and are very firm and sturdy. There is no assembly, just let it inflate and then place it where needed. The size is good, not too wide for a 4 step set and they look very nice. My one issue is that there is no grippy bits on the bottom to keep it from slipping! This is listed as being non-slip, and of course the weight of the stairs will help if you have a truly tiny dog or cat, but I would prefer the security of rubberized bits to provide grip on the bottom. There also is no handle on the back for easy maneuvering or side pockets for storage.Overall, it’s a nice set of stairs, very sturdy and attractive, but the lack of grips mean I wouldn’t recommend it to others. Also, for nearly $50 a handle would be appreciated, I don’t think this set of stairs is worth their current price point.

Work great
I have a new pup who is only about 5 pounds. She still hasnât figured out how to jump up on the bed. Beyond that, when you reach down to pick her up, she runs away. Itâs so frustrating. I got these stairs today and they came compressed into a very small package. I was surprised at how quickly they inflated and became quite sturdy in minutes. It said they wouldnât reach their full firmness for 24 hours but they were usable almost right away. I set them up next to my bed and my pup quickly found her way up after a few lessons and some coaxing. I did try them on their other side so it was taller but that angle was too steep for her and she slid down. They fit nicely decor-wise and are covered in a soft fluffy fabric. Iâm glad the cover has a zipper so it can be removed and washed if needed.

Perfect for my pet
Just as described! I placed it in my bedroom for my Abby, and she uses it with no problem to get onto the bed. She weighs about 40 pounds, and Iâm impressed with the strength of this item. Sturdy, reliable, and works great! arrived quickly and package well. Very Easy to use.

This is great! It’s the right size to let my dog climb into a bed or onto the sofa, instead of jumping.It comes vacuum packed and is much, much flatter when it arrives, but it expanded over the new few days and works well.My dog was scared of it for a few days and then refused to use it to get off of the bed or sofa because he can just jump down. That’s a shame, because I’m more concerned about him hurting himself jumping off of something rather than jumping on to something, but that’s not the stairs fault. He has gone down the stairs a few times with some helpful positioning from us, and hopefully with time, he gets better at climbing up and down the stairs, but the stairs are as described, and work great for a bed frame with a mattress (with no box spring) or normal sofa.

Helps Our Dachshund
We wanted to get a set of couch stairs to help our dachshund ‘s back health, and these have worked wonderfully! After you let the foam expand, it’s incredibly solid. It also matches our couch height perfectly. I love that the cover is removeable and washable, and it’s very soft to the touch. It took our dog a couple days to get used to the stairs, but he now uses them effortlessly. Definitely a great way to invest in your pet’s comfort and health!
