Great product
Great stair case and spot for my puppy to nap. Love the depth of the stairs and ease for my dogs to use it. I love the quality and the fact itâs washable.

My doggo says thank you
My tiny little yorkie actually hurt herself jumping off of my bed a couple of years ago. She’s sort of a circus dog with the jumping so maybe she was a bit exuberant with her leaps but still, she is who she is. But she’s 5 now and the older she gets, the less likely it will be that this up/down doesn’t wreck her body. I’ve been considering stairs for awhile now and finally took the plunge. These stairs are very well made. Very nice color and fabric with a soft almost chenille feel. They came in the tiniest little package, all vacuum packed in but once you break the seal it’s like a tsunami coming of the bag lol. They come in two parts and zip together. People with lesser fine motor skills such as older folks, arthritis etc may have trouble zipping the two parts together so keep that in mind. The contrast is poor and lining the two zips up was a bit of a challenge. Just a bit. Then, I took the rectangular pieces of plastic and slid them into the steps so they were firm. The stairs are bulky but there is a convenient handle on the back that you can use to transport them around. These stairs are very large. Please measure your space before buying it. I didn’t look at that before and I think it’s at least 16″ wide. I enclosed a picture of the stairs next to my bed. I have a very small room and I have left myself only about a foot to walk around them. No worries tho – I suppose I can put them on the other side of the bed. I live alone so no real traffic over there.I also included a pic of my dog on them for size reference. Maggie is 7 lbs, very small but easily learned how to navigate up and down. I also put a yardstick next to my bed and the stairs for additional size reference (height-wise). But as I said, these come in two pieces. Mine are fully assembled to their max height. Maggie still has do a tiny leap to get onto the bed but it’s not too bad. Other beds are much higher than mine so keep that in mind as well. All in all, while the bed is pretty big for my space, anything for my precious pooch. My bed is her happy place and when she’s happy I’m happy.

Surprisingly sturdy
I was a little skeptical about a foam-based set of stairs. Iâm using it for my senior 16-year-old kitty to more easily get into my tall bed. Even though he only weighs 11 pounds, foam steps seemed dubious. However, upon opening it, I found the foam is very dense. (BTW, opening it is fun as it comes compacted in two layers of vacuum bag and fits in a 16.5â x 12 x 7.5â box. Once you snip the second bag, it starts spilling out of its confined space. It didnât even need 10 minutes to grow to its full size.). Ingeniously, however, each treadâs top is a pocket and has a rigid material piece that slides into it. Thus, the stairs are easy for my cat to climb. It may not work for some dogs, though, as each tread is only about 6â deep; and, each riser is about 4.5â high. Conveniently, they put a carry handle on the smaller, 2-step piece. I wish they had done the same for the more cumbersome bottom piece. Both pieces have a sort of grippy black fabric to keep the pieces from sliding. I probably wonât flip the top piece upside down to form a cat perch. But, if I did, Iâd probably cover it with a cat mat to make it more comfortable and to keep fur from sticking to the grippy nubbins.Iâm baffled by the description stating that the steps can be easily zipped and folded and stowed under a bed. You can zip the top piece to the bottom piece. But, unzipping them still leave the bottom piece about 18â high and most beds arenât that high off the ground. (Maybe, somehow, it could be re-vacuumed and then stowed.). There are two other zippersâone for each pieceâthat allow the covers to be removed and laundered. Since the description says the stepsâ material is waterproof inside, Iâm not planning on doing anything other than de-furring them or spot-cleaning them, as required. My senior cat will be happy, once he figures out what theyâre for. So, Iâm very happy.

Saving my sleep stairs
The stairs came vacuum packed and puffed up within a day, they definitely took the full two days to become fully firmed up. The cover can come off for cleaning if needed which is great. My favorite part is that if I bump into these in the night I donât have a bruiseâ¦they are soft and donât bang up my legs if I run into them like other options for stairs for your dogs. Anyway, these are awesome and Iâd highly recommend hem for anyone with an elderly dog needing a little support!
We have a elderly dog and a very tall bed that havenât been working together very well these days. My dog has taken to whining pitifully in the middle of the night to get help to get up on the bed because she loves to sleep snuggled up with us. I was the one that would wake up and help her up. I wasnât sure if these stairs were going to work since sheâs a bigger dog – about 60 lbs – but was hopeful with the wider size they would work. I am so happy to have these stairs! First they work great for my bigger girl! They are very firm and come with stair treads you can add (I havenât) to create more sturdy stair treads. But they are plenty firm on their own and are a great size for having space for dogs to have plenty of room to use the stairs. The rise of the stairs is perfect for my dog, they give her momentum up but arenât too hard for her to climb. These store easily since you can take the top off and nestle them at the top. My dog had no problem understanding what they needed to do and the very first night they were out she climbed them to get up on the bed. Sleep saved! I didnât wake up to hoist her upâ¦instead I just woke up when she flopped down on top of my feet!

I have a petite shih tzu and she loves being able to get up and down our bed anytime she wants now. This is the best investment for her ðð
Here’s the thing… –
I already have the beautiful 4-step Cozy Kiss stairs, which reach the top of the couch (exactly) so the dog can get on and off the couch, but they didnât reach the bed height. When I saw the matching 5-step stairs, I they would be adequate to provide the height for his ascent and descent to his daily slumber on the bed, his main hangout, as well as the couch. (BTW, for ref, he’s 20lbs and short-legged).I removed the small rectangular armless mini bench he’s been using as an impetus to get himself onto the bed since he was a pup. At first, he stood there looking anxious, walking around the perimeter of the bed hoping for a magic carpet to take him up, looking forlorn and confused, of course tried to jump 25″ from the floor, but I coaxed him onto the stairs, which for him are steep, since he’s not used to stairs (living in a building), and definitely not used stairs in the bedroom. But Iâm trying to be cruel to be kind by changing the routine because Iâm worried about the damage being done or already likely done to his joints, spine, muscles, and ligaments. I feel guilty for adjusting without his usual routine, but with no other option (tried other methods that don’t impact the joints as much on the descent down) so gave the stairs a shot. It took him a little time, but he got the hang of it, even though he was a bit scared at first.Their adjustability is a value added bonus. You can customize them to different heights or use them as a little landing spot for the dog (or cat) to lie on. Per product photos, just pop the top and get a two-step stair, and the remaining three steps give a 3-stepper, you get the gist, and finally 5 steps that reach the bed, each serving their purpose. Btw, theyâre also very comfortable for humans (not to climb) but to elevate the feet, Iâll have you know. ð (Iâm pretty sure humans use them as a footrest or ottomonâesque piece) while on he couch or in a chair. Hey spread the love, theyâre multifunctional. With all the choices of steps out thereâand I’ve looked at and and tried several different types, believe me, these are the pretty much the nicest looking, best quality, softest, widest, durable, washable, customizable, and easiest for the dog to use. Highly recommend

It may seem strange to have a caveat in my title for this review despite giving the product five stars, but it really is a well-made set of stairs for most pets. Unfortunately, something I hadn’t considered is that my dog is half dachshund, so his spine is a little too long for him to stand comfortably on two sequential steps at the same time without panicking a little and hopping off the staircase. That said, my neighbour’s terrier had no problems with it when they were visiting, so I think it’s fair to say that it’ll depend on the dog more than anything. The foam it uses for most of its structure is dense enough to prevent it from deforming when a cat or smaller dog is using it (assuming that you remember to install the plastic inserts for the steps after it first arrives) and it also does a good job at weathering the treatment my larger dogs use it to get a better angle to lick somebody’s face while they’re sitting on the couch. Not really the intended use case, but they’re happy with it. The zippers feel durable and are easy to zip and unzip, and the removable outer layer makes washing it very easy. It’s also nice that you can split them into two different sets of steps if you’re only looking to make it easier for your pet to access lower furniture like chairs or couches.Overall, I think it’s an excellent product that isn’t the perfect fit for me, but I think the majority of pet owners who would be looking for something like this will be well-served by it. If I can find a way to train the dog I intended this for to use it properly, I’ll definitely get another one of these specifically.

My dog (that’s her watching me in the background with her buckets of toys) has hip dysplasia like a lot of Corgis and so I try a lot of things to help her get up onto couches and beds. She likes a long ramp but that is not feasible for the couch unless we want to give it to her entirely, and she didn’t like a shorter ramp for the couch. I hadn’t tried soft stairs before because they always seem to either be way too narrow (for fearless chihuahuas) or all soft with no support, but this one looked different and turns out it is!I like that they give you very hard corrugated plastic cards to put in fabric pockets on the stairs so the dog feels support and I like that the top part zips off because it is the perfect height for our couch with the bottom half and I think she’ll like the longer runway at the top.She has not tried it yet (will try to update if/when she does, if she doesn’t need it now she will when she’s older for sure) but already it is much wider and stronger than any of the ones I have looked at in pet stores and I am very impressed with it.It is a great buy for small or even smallish medium dogs and I put a lot of my weight on it doing that stupid human thing we do when we try to show them how to do it, and it was really quite sturdy! So I’m happy with this even if she won’t use it just yet! But here’s hoping she’ll warm up to it over time, Corgi’s are stubborn but lazy so she might get sick of falling off of the couch 50% of the time she tries to jump up. :(It comes vacuum sealed twice BTW in a smaller box and then puffs out like a mattress.

COZY KISS Dog Stairs for Small Dogs, 5 Tier Removable Wider Pet Stairs for Couch and Bed, 23.6″ H Non-Slip Dog Steps for Puppies and Old Cats with Support Board, 29.5×19.7×23.6 inch, GreyThis set of 5-step pet stairs is not only very practical and functional but also very aesthetic, it wonât look out of place in most decors. One of the really practical features is that the height/number of stairs can be adjusted based on need, by unzipping or zipping on the removable top 2 steps. We find the 3 steps is the perfect height for our couch and adding the top 2 makes it perfect height for our bed. There are lots of pet step designs, but this one is the most practical.Apart from the adjustable height, the bottom has a non-skid surface making it safe and practical for hardwood and vinyl floors, itâs also strong and sturdy enough that it wonât easily move when being used. The stairs are covered in a removable cover that can be washed in the washing machine and is close-fitting, keeping it tidy-looking, not baggy and unkempt. The material on the sides is a wipeable material, while the steps are covered with a soft chenille like cover, easy for pet paws to climb. The cover can be removed and washed in the washer. These are not collapsible and apart from zipping the top off, the stairs are not easy to store compactly, however there is a handle on the back near the top, making it easy to grasp the stairs and move wherever theyâre needed.Rigid plastic inserts are included which slide into openings in the stairs, I donât really feel theyâre necessary, as the steps are very sturdy feeling, but possibly helpful for certain situations. The price point (~$110 at time of review) makes these stairs an investment, but I think with all the features, the design and quality, this is a good investment for a caring pet lover and will last a long time if properly taken care of.
