Very nice. Well made. Color isn’t a bright red. More subdued. Sure beats using a towel which we’ve used for different dogs for the past 28 years. Handles are easy to hold. Also adjustable for length. Very, very pleased.

Works great
We have a 15 year old cocker spaniel that sometimes has a hard time lifting up on her back legs so this came in handy when we need it to help her get around in times of need. She knows itâs there so she walks forward at her own pace and she seems to show no complaints of discomfort. The padding on the belly is very nice and gives her a lot of cushion. Iâm 5ft and the length of the handles are ok I have to hold my elbow up a little but my husband is 6â3 and he has no problem leaving his arm fully extended. I would buy this again for any of my other dogs when they gotten to the age of having walking issues.

Straps cause bunching
The pad is wonderfully stable and cushioned but stability is wrecked by the addition of a fixed horizontal loop on both sides (not shown in product images) that causes the pad to cinch when the straps are pulled taunt. If the straps only went vertically as pictured, the product would work perfectly.

Not good for male dogs they pee on it no matter how you put it on ,I even tried sewing the spot where his peepers would be and still pees in it ð

This will get some use
Our dog has pretty bad arthritis in his back. He gets around for the most part, but some days are worse than others. Sometimes he has trouble standing up, or more specifically, getting his butt off the ground. This will help a bit. He’s really cranky if we grab him and try to help, but not so much if we use a sling. We’ve used a towel before for this very purpose. This sling is much better than a towel. He has trouble getting into the back seat of my sedan, and while he gets his front up, he always falls backwards. So I’ll probably keep this in my car. We got the Large size, which works well for our German Shepherd. It’s not a harness that you leave on your pooch; it’s meant to be held the whole time and will fall off or drop down loose, if your handles are connected. Along with a small section that you wrap around the handles to keep the sides connected, this includes a mesh bag for when you throw this in the wash.
