So far so good!
i ordered this for my pug mix. She is 7 years old, kind of fat, had a knee injury a few years ago, and was recently diagnosed with mild hip displaysia. She loves being active but for a while she was limping and so stiff we couldn’t even go for walks. I started her on glucosamine which stopped the limping but she still had a hard time going for more than 10 minutes at a time and would be very stiff after play sessions. I ordered this product hoping it would give her a little bit more flexibility and reduce swelling in her joints. She has only been on it for a week or so now but I swear I can see a difference. She is able to keep up on our walks and doesn’t show stiffness afterward. The powder is also very easy to feed, I just sprinkle on her food with a splash of water and stir it around and she doesn’t notice a thing.

I like that it is local and the antlers are collected …
I know this worked before I bought it (used to sell it at my previous workplace), but it was cheaper here. I have a physically challenged dog and one with hip problems. I believe it has helped them. The scooper (included) is so tiny that the powder lasts longer than you might think for such a small amount of powder in the first place. I like that it is local and the antlers are collected humanely (when they shed). That matters to me.The only thing I don’t like is that the bottle is larger than what it could contain. It’s a bit deceiving. However, for the price and the amazing quality of the product, it makes it worth it. It’s not a cure for joint issues, but it seems to help alleviate pain and for a three-legged dog, it’s worth it to me to help my little dude with a healthy five-star product.

Very Good, But…………………….
I really like this product. I have a 12 yr old Yellow Labrador with hip dysplasia, back issues, arthritis, and very thin tendons/muscles in her legs. Her complete movement stopped rather quickly. A month of her legs giving out once and awhile, to nothing. Immediately went to a stricter regiment of the glucosamine 500mg /chondroitin 400mg /MSM 500mg per 25 lbs of weight. Tramadol for pain 100mg every 8hrs.(Would like to get to every 12hrs) & the recommended amounts of EPA-Omega 3 650mg & DHA-Omega 6 450mg. We started a NSAID & had terrible problems with stomach & bleeding issues. Stopped NSAIDs & have been looking into alternative & healthier medicines. Right now, we are on 1/2 the dose of Prednisone for her weight.(Would like not to be on it forever, prednisone makes her whole body feel better, so more of a chance if something else happens-we wouldn’t know right away, & lowers the immune system) I really do not want to have to increase it either. My friend told me about this product. I started her on a double dose (per friend’s recommendation at least for the initial 2 weeks) Wonderful results, more energy & self movement(w/o as much help) for stairs & potty. I still have to help however. Our dose of the Antler Velvet & their special ingredients(see them on the box) is 500mg (per her weight-4 scoops) now since I was already told do double it, I did. I started to lower the dose, and so did her improvement. Now we are permanently taking at least double the dose. I checked into the other ingredients at this point to make sure this was ok. The only ingredient that I do not agree should be in this product is the chrysanthemum flowers. All knowledge I can find, this might not “kill” the dog, but has been proven to make them sick with stomach & diarrhea if eaten. Wapiti Labs have told me that it was for immunity and eye improvement.I feel that there is other herbal/natural medicines out there that would be better to use. Now, my dog doesn’t seem to have these issues (Not like she can tell me), but I still do not see why it is in there. (It is like garlic/onion to me, if it is not good for them, why do companies use it at all for dogs?) With more research, I have only found one other product like this from New Zealand with a closer ratio to the recommended dosages to the Chinese medicines. I am looking into that right now before we try it. Also, per Chinese medicine writings they recommend 1000-2000 mg for bone/joint issues. Now, I am not a professional. These are my opinions & my own findings. I do not know any of this 100%. However, I am confident enough to share as a dog lover. I am also looking into the active ingredient of Microlatin or Duralactin for dogs, and the benefits of the good trans fatty acids/Omega’s (EPA/DHA/GLA/ALA/LA/OA). I am still researching & finding that almost all the supplements with combinations have such a different ratio than what is recommended for each, I am getting disappointed. I will still use Senior Mobility for now, and hopefully continue to see better results (will be adding the duralactin in here shortly) I hope this helps! Only gave a 4 because I need to double the dose & the ingredient of chrysanthemum flowers, a known ingredient to make dogs vomit, stomach aches, and diarrhea.

UNBELIEVABLE RESULTS!
Five of my seven dogs are seniors and four of them are feeling the effects of time. The family matriarch is Chloe, a Standard Poodle at 15+ years. She is taking an anti-inflammatory and it helps but she was having a real problem with stairs – going down more so than going up. There was lots of coaxing and drama and I finally resorted to carrying her, but she didn’t like that either. I was doing that for a few weeks when I ran across an ad for this and decided to try it. The morning OF THE THIRD DAY I carried the two aging Shih Tzus downstairs, turned around and Chloe was standing right behind us! No coaxing, no drama, no kidding. I never expected results that quickly. I’m not saying that she acts likes she’s six again but she is definitely having an easier time coping with everyday life. I’ve seen an improvement in each dog using this but hers is the most remarkable. If you might be hesitating due to the cost, let me tell you that you use the tiniest amount so it will last you a long time and the company provides you with a teeny measuring scoop to make dosing easy for you. We experienced very positive results and hope you do too.

It works
My almost 13 years old German Shepherd has partially torn ACL and has hard time walking. Within a week after starting on this she started noticeable walking longer every day and have signs of more energy. Nothing can turn back clock but it works at least to reduce discomfort especially when weather changes.

Like the pill form better
The powder gets cakey, and it takes six scoops of it for our Great Dane. The pill form of this works better for us.
