Sturdy, well made, secure and easy to use!
Clips easily to the base of any headrest. Fully adjustable. The headrest loop is easily re-sized, and the leash portion is just as simple to adjust the length in order to accommodate any sized dog. I love that I can finally roll the windows down all the way, take the top down and even pop the doors off of the Jeep while the dogs sit safely strapped into the vehicle. I can also keep the dogs separated, one on each side of the vehicle, simply by adjusting the length of the leash. The dogs don’t find this restrictive at all, since they can still sit, stand or lay down on their side of the back seat. To accommodate human passengers (or when not in use), I can simply spin the restraint around on the headrest so it hangs off the back and into the cargo area. The materials used look and feel very sturdy. These are restraints that I expect to last many years with frequent use. Very happy with this purchase! Reminder: please only use this leash while your dog is in a harness to avoid choking.

 I used it for the first time, and the best thing I have noticed about it was that this belt gives my dog total access to the entire back seat. With this belt attaching to her harness, I am more comfortable with her in the backseat because I know that she can’t jump to the front randomly and distracts my attention. I do like that it extends: it is long enough for my 50lb dog to peek out the window. With this extra bit of freedom, she can move in the back with little restrain. Also, it is really easy to snap onto the headrest and then buckle in.Â

I was very happy with this product. It was easy to install. I can snap it off and use as a short leash also. It fits around the head rest so no concerns about if it hooks into the seatbelt or not (no size issues). It is well built.I would buy again.

Looks very sturdy and useful
I ordered this for my daughter to use with her dog. She was thrilled to get it and to see how easy it was to use. No hooking into a seatbelt or trying to get it attached. It loops right over the headrest and the hook hooks onto the ring on dog’s vest. I do not recommend hooking this to a dog collar though as it would be very dangerous to the dog in a crash. But if you hook it into a dog harness, it will keep your dog safe and contained.I have not heard how this works in real life yet because we’re still doing social distancing so my daughter hasn’t taken her dog anywhere. I’ll update if there’s a problem but I honestly don’t think there will be.

Absolute MUST HAVE
We bought these on a friendâs recommendation and we are so glad we did! Simple, safe and sturdy. It keeps our puppy secure and comfortable in the front or back seat and drastically decreased the anxiety that comes along with driving with a puppy. We can relax a bit knowing that he is safe in our car while we drive. Works great as a make shift leash!

Broken Clip Could Have Led to Broken Heart
The second time we used it our 20-lb dog jumped out of the car before we could get the leash on him. The metal where it attached to the clip twisted. It came apart completely and he took off. Fortunately we were arriving home and he ran into our back yard, but if we’d been at a shopping center or someone else’s house, it could have been disastrous. This might work for a very well-behaved dog, but for a rambunctious 1-yo it is not safe.

Kept my fur baby from wandering while I’m driving
My dog loves to climb back and forth from front seat to back seat over and over. It makes me crazy. Once I had to hit the brakes hard because a kid ran into the street. My dog went flying into the dash. Glad I was only going 25-ish mph. So I wrapped this around the headrest, easy to do because of the quick release latch and adjustable strap length, and connected her. She wasn’t happy she couldn’t wander, but she sat still and my drive was less stressful.
