Keeps dog in place in the car
Used to travel 3 hours to keep my three dogs safer and not jumping around in the car and distracting my driving.

Fairly thick canvas material, strong, seems durable, good stitching. Metal clips but plastic buckle.
Made of good quality canvas fabric, there was an exact matching pair of short seat belt straps for pets in the bundle I had ordered. The strap’s canvas is reasonably thick, and so far has shown itself to be both strong and durable. Especially thanks to the high quality stitching. I have not noticed any flaws, frays, or other fabric issues.These straps feature a section of stretchy bungee strap, which is greatly improving pet safety during vehicle mis-haps. Especially since traditional non-bungee straps are still often latched onto collars rather than harnesses. It’s not a perfect safety solution, nothing really is, but at least it greatly helps, in my belief. But remember it’s even better to use with a harness, though, instead of a traditional neck collar.There is a metal seat belt clip on one end of the straps, which should fit standard road vehicle seat belts. I can’t vouch for seat belts of other vehicle types, though. But it is well sewn-in to the strap, and appears to be strong, as seat belts ought to be. The other end of the strap has a metal leash clip for latching onto the pet’s harness or collar, etc. This clip is about the standard size for such clips, and is likewise well sewn-in to the strap. It appears to be strong and durable enough for the task, at least in regards to the normal range of possible vehicle versus road situations. It is also fairly easy to use while also being secure when closed.There is a buckle positioned along the straps as well, which is for strap adjustments, etc. This buckle is made of plastic. While not extremely thin or weak, it’s still just plastic, so it’s durability might reach a limit under certain possible road travel circumstances. But it definitely is just fine under normal daily use and conditions.Overall, this is a great product, in my opinion. I hope it’s full potential is never needed, but I’d also much rather have a product such as this one in use for if it ever did.5 out of 5 stars.

If youâve ever traveled with a dog in your car, you know how challenging it can be. When a dog isnât secured, he often tries to jump from seat to seat, climb onto your lap, or even get under the brake pedalâa dangerously critical situation. I have a male Morkie, and for him, I had already purchased a seat cover. I got it not only to make his rides more comfortable but also to protect the car seat from his dirty paws. However, convincing him to stay on that designated seat was a battle I could never win.This is where the dog seatbelt came to my rescue. In fact, this is the second one Iâve ordered, and it has a significant advantage over the previous one. The length of the leash can be adjusted, albeit within a small but sufficient range. This allows me to either give my dog a bit of freedom to hop off the seat and sit on the floor beside it or shorten the leash completely to keep him securely on the seat with no chance of wandering.The central section of this seatbelt also features an elastic band that prevents the leash from pulling taut instantly, allowing the tension to gradually increase. This makes a huge difference for my dog. With a regular leash, sudden braking or acceleration could result in a harsh jerk that startles and discomforts him. However, with the spring-loaded seatbelt, this issue is eliminated, ensuring a smoother and safer experience for him.Additionally, the seatbeltâs design is sleek and stylish, fitting perfectly into the interior of any car. It not only performs its function well but also looks great. In my opinion, this is the best product of its kind that Iâve used so far. A full five stars!

It’s super easy to lock it into and release it from the seat belt in the car. Clips well onto the dog’s harness. Seems sturdy and well made. I’m confident it’ll help keep the dog safe in the car.

IBWell Dog Seat Belt for Car with Elastic Bungee Leash (grey)The stitching on these looks good and strong, and they clip into my Toyota FJ Cruiser seat belts securely.The overall length (from tip of leash clasp to the tip of the seat belt clip)when adjusted to longest is 35 inches, while adjusted at the shortest is 28 inches – fully stretched. The strap color is a shiny grey, and the stitches are lighter than in the product pictures..

Just enough stretchy give!
First I have to admit I do not have a dog … BUT I have a specific purpose in mind for these IBWell Dog Seat Belts with Elastic Bungee Leash. I have bad luck with regular bungee cords perishing due to the heavy sun exposure on my patio so I plan to use these as tiebacks on my umbrellas after winter has passed. The double layer of high quality nylon should endure better with sun exposure and the zinc alloy hardware will likely hold up well to any intermittent rain. As long as I tie down the umbrellas on windy days they won’t topple over or fly off and these bungee leashes are a perfect length to hold the umbrellas fabric and spokes tightly by latching the swivel snap end into the closed rectangular end. Problem solved!
