I bought 2 of these to contain 2 large dogs. On a day long trip both of them were unhooked more than once. I finally attached the strap to the seat belt itself with the snap, but as I bought it to hook into the seat belt holder, not sure I will be keeping the straps. They seem to be well made and I was hoping they might also help in the event of an accident. Sadly they don’t even help keep a dog in the car when you open the door as they become undone. (One dog is a puppy yet, working on WAIT on the seat)Might work better in your vehicle.
