Big dog approved!
Our family has 3 large dogs, and one of them is now a senior. She tends to have some issues getting in and out of the SUV, and while we were using steps, I noticed that it was not longer easy for her to navigate.I ordered this in the hopes of making things easier for her.While the ramp was slightly heavier than I expected, I am still able to use it and lift it without difficulty, and even my 73 year old mother was able to use it with ease.Our 9 year old dog immediately knew what to do with the ramp – she did not hesitate, she walked up it, turned around, came back down, and did that a few times. I think she really likes it! The other 2 dogs watched her, and immediately went up and down the ramp themselves – no more cajoling or trying to lift them into vehicles!One thing that really stands out about this ramp is how sturdy it is. There was no wobble, nothing to make the dogs nervous going up and down it. The addition of the non-slip textured pads on the ramp is fantastic – it’s comfortable to their paws, helps them keep their footing, and it’s so much better than the non slip sandpapery type of treads I’ve seen on other ramps.This takes up very little room in the back of the SUV, it lives under a milk crate that has emergency road supplies and dog travel supplies, and it’s wonderful to be able to quickly set it up and get the dogs in when we need to.I cannot recommend this enough to dog owners, it’s already made such a huge difference in our lives.

Perfect for your pets, easy on their joints
This ramp is built to last, easy to install, even better when you travel with your pup! Durable enough to help my 12 week corso into my SUV without tearing up his joints simply trying to jump in. Could I pick him up at this age – 38 ibs in ehh yea but he wonât be small forever! Reality is my pup is getting bigger and will be much heavier, so lifting for me will soon be a problem. We started training him to use the ramp early, so he is practically used to walking up the ramp now. When not in use I store it in my trunk, unfold it when I need it, and he walks up and gets into his pet designed car seat! Itâs that simple! Easy to clean with a light vacuum or wipe down if needed. Durable, sturdy, and light enough to transfer between vehicles if needed.Great buy for your pups needing to get in high places on a weekly basis or more! Easy on their joints for optimal growth and health! Iâd also add this helps prevent scratching of my car interior, since my pup doesnât need to jump into the car and try to grip the seats to stabilize himself.

The ramp is compact and easy to maneuver. It stashes behind the seat of the truck, and when extended, it is sturdy, and has good grip.

Heavy duty and built to last.
This thing is built like a tank but thankfully it lacks the weight of one. The setup and take down is very easy. Itâs not so heavy that my teens canât unfold it. However, I would think it goes without saying that this is a folding ramp which means there are gaps where fingers can get caught. Much like anything else is the world that folds. I will not remove any stars for that. If you cannot comprehend that ANYTHING that folds can catch a finger then thatâs your fault, not the manufacturers.Your dog will probably look at this ramp like itâs about to come alive to snatch their soul. Especially if they have not used one before. Place their favorite treat on it and they will walk up like a pro. After one time, they learn that they are now a diva and donât have to jump in like the rest of us. They now know they are superior and will wait for you to get their ramp so they can exit the vehicle.BEWARE: All of the men in your home will now claim this ramp for experimental purposes. âI mean, we have to make sure it will hold his full weight and not collapseâ my husband says as he uses it as a bridge over the creek pushing a wheel barrow of fire wood across it.
