    Worked perfectly
Have a 10 year old 125 lbs dog that’s showing her age with joint pain. It’s very difficult for her to get in my truck but she loves to ride. I was driving to a hill to make it easier for her to get in but still struggling and may not always find a hill so I got this ramp and set it up in the truck door and it has a decent angle. The dog tried to get around the ramp for a bit confused but I set her front legs on the ramp and she walked right up with ease and can go back down with no issues. The ramp folds up easily and pretty compact and not too heavy and fits behind the driver seat with plenty of room. The carpet was not slippery for the dog and didn’t bow any from the weight of the dog. Seems very sturdy and she’s not afraid of the ramp. happy with the product.

Great ramp, but watch out for sharp edges!
Ordered this ramp to teach our Irish Wolfhound puppy how to navigate her way into our truck beds. I really love the non-slip surface. It’s definitely a lot nicer than the ones with the sandpaper grit surface. It does fold down very compactly and has a great carrying handle. My only complaint/concern is the edges of the ramp are extremely sharp when it’s folded down and also fingers can get pinched very easily when folding or unfolding. As long as you are cautious and pay attention while setting it up and taking it down, this is a great ramp. It is plenty wide enough and can hold up to 200 lbs, which is important with a dog the size of ours.

    Well Made Ramp…
Well built and folds to a reasonable size so I’ll store in the car. The foot print of this ramp when folded is much smaller than the formed plastic ramp this replaces. My 45 lb, 2 year old dog easily went up and down the ramp on the first try. My 80 lb, 8 year old slid going up/down at first but with a little practice, he did great. I think as with anything, brief practice sessions help the dog build both confidence and understanding of the body motions needed to successfully use it. Tiny treats help, too. Both of these dogs were going up and down it easily after 2 brief practice sessions. You can see it does take more effort for the larger dog to get up the ramp. But I don’t like him jumping out of the car so this will be great for him.The incline was a bit too much for my 60 lb, 10 year old with a disk problem in her upper back. She kept sliding down the ramp… that dog couldn’t get adequate traction. I had hoped it would be a good option for her as she ages… it could still be. I’ll update after we’ve practiced more. The design of this ramp was well thought out. I don’t mind weight at all because I feel it relates to a more sturdy/stable product. I like the handle that’s hidden in the middle when the ramp is folded and how easily the ramp folds up for storage. The clip at the top of the ramp secures to the striker plate where the SUV door latches. I felt confident that it would hold the ramp securely in place. My only wish would be a little more traction because of the incline.

    Sturdy ramp
I have a smaller dog ramp that works well with my minivan, but it’s also a bit steep and the old lady, who weighs 90lbs, was having difficulty making it up the ramp. I was in need of something a bit longer so the incline isn’t as bad. So what did we think? It’s heavy, but given it’s size, that’s to be expected. It’s easy enough to fold and unfold, but be careful if you’re in a rush because it’s easy to pinch skin/clothes. I also like that it is covered in antislip surface, which works well for her and gives her the traction that she needs. I’ve been able to use it myself and it is sturdy. You could also use it at home—leading up to the bed or sofa—but it does take up a lot of space. And that’s a consideration. Overall, I like it and it’s useful for our senior dog.

Excellent ramp for older dogs but a bit on the heavy side
If you have an older dog that has difficulty jumping or climbing up stairs then your going to find that this dog ramp not only convenient but a back saver. The ramp folds up when not in use and it has a safety latch so it doesn’t open unexpectedly. The ramp works well with our SUV and I suspect it will work with trucks and even stairs in your home. The ramp has a non-slip surface to give your dog plenty of traction, and a safety tether to keep it secured to your vehicle to prevent accidents. Over all this ramp works very well, but it is heavy and bulky. It will take up space in your vehicle, but that’s a small price to pay for the convenience.
