Essentially unreturnable
TLDR: Good quality. Costs more to return than it cost to buy. Not great for large dogs.This is a great product for small animals. I bought it for my parents for Christmas for their cat who was old and having a hard time getting on and off the bed. He couldnât walk up and down steps. I knew he didnât have very long left and he died after the ramp was delivered but before I could give it to them. I tried to return it but it was $175 to return. I wound up just keeping it and my two cats use it to get in the window. It is good for them but my Doberman, who is only 75lbs canât walk on it well. Itâs not sturdy enough. My mastiff who was only 120lbs would have NEVER been able to use this. It says it can support 150lbs which Iâm sure is true as I walked on it to test that out, but itâs so narrow I cant picture big dogs feeling secure on it. It is good quality and easy to put together though.

Works beautifully
My little yorkie is getting old and canât jump on or off the couch anymore. I was tired of lifting her up and down. Her stairs were ok for going down but it was a struggle and she refused to go up them. The minute I set this up sheâs running up and down them with no issues! Iâm so glad this worked! Very sturdy with a nice nonslip surface. Itâs easily adjusted and set up. Didnât even need the side panels but I kept them in case I need them later. This ramp is longer than most which makes a nice gentle slope. Nice looking too. Get this one!

Great ramp but..
Overall, this is an amazing ramp. I purchased it for our elderly pitbull who is roughly 60-70lbs. Very little hesitation from her to start using the ramp, just had to put a trail of treats on it the first few times for her to understand she can walk on it.If you have a higher bed like we do, you will notice that the higher setting are VERY wobbly. There was a time she got to the top and was going to transfer to the bed and the ramp tipped over (she went down with it). I had to remedy this by applying multiple 3â screws to limit movement and a ratchet strap to secure it to the frame of the bed. Now itâs solid as a rock. The rubber grip allows her to run up and down it no problem.

Don’t Buy Can’t Return for Refund without Postage Cost
Bought this for my older Chihuahua who was using a step I bought from Etsy that had a 3″ rise. She was having trouble going down those steps. This is a well-built unit and I like the rubber mat, however, she and my more able younger Chihuahua can’t get a grip to start at the bottom and get going up the ramp. Now have to pay return shipping. Don’t buy one of these unless free return or you can try it out locally. Not worth it.

My dogs are doing well on this new, firm ramp!
I can tell after a couple weeks that my dogs are doing quite well with this new ramp. I’ve had soft step ramps, foam straight ramps, and such up to my bed. I have two 5 pound Papi-Poos and recently a 15 pound Yorkie-Schnauzer mix joined our family. He’s several years younger and loves chasing the other two around. Making a flying leap onto the soft ramp, they will sometimes keep going straight off!. This new wooden ramp has a grippy surface, and solid response to their weight – on or running off the bed. I’ve not put the “guard rails” on and we have no problem. Yes, it’s got some weight and you sure can hit your toe on the edge but the trade-off is well worth it (for our doggo-babies, right?!). Arrived quickly and a few minutes set up and the little ones did hardly notice a thing. I do recommend this pet ramp.

Sturdy and well built
This ramp is perfect for our needs. Bought it for our 65 lb Golden Retriever, but he refused to use it. Our 60 lb female went up and down it no problem and it was sturdy enough for her weight. Now our 20 lb dog uses it to get up on the bed and hopefully we can get the others to use it to keep them from hurting their joints. Recommend this

It takes practice to get my dog to not be afraid
My dog is a 30 pound senior dog. Limited in eyesight and in leg strength.This ramp does work but it takes quite a bit if practice with my dog to not be afraid and to get his routine down. The higher the bed, the higher the ramp is inclined and scary for smaller dogs.The BIG negative is the side railing. The screws keep coming loose making the railing wobbly. BIG FLAW in design with just one screw on each railing leg. My dog cant get off ramp without his rear hitting railing and railing gives way too easily.I probably should not have purchased a black one as that color makes it more difficult for my senior dog too see.This design should be better for the price.
