Great dog paw care kit with real “balm”, not “cream” or “lotion”… and made in the USA
Great dog paw care kit with real “balm”, not “cream” or “lotion”… and made in the USA. I’m sure the dog paw cleaner, will come in handy some day, but it was the dog paw balm that I was really interested in. My dog is about 4 years old and I noticed how dry and rough his paws were recently… walking on hot Texas pavement in the summer time sure didn’t help I know. Any how, in looking for a good balm, every time I thought I’d found a good one, with close examination of the fine print, I’d discover they were made in China, which is an absolute no go for me. China has an actual law that says all cosmetic type products MUST be tested on animals before they can be put on the market. Granted, in 2021, there were a very few exceptions made for this rule, but like I said, the stories I read on the subject, said those exceptions were far and few in between. And every Chinese made cosmetic I’ve seen for the last 15 years, they all say “not tested on animals”… which simply cannot be the case, at least prior to 2021 anyway, so no thank you, not going to trust it for a second. So yes, it’s the balm here that interested me the most, and it doesn’t disappoint… this is heavy duty real balm, which is more effective than a “cream”, and much more effective than a lotion. I do not like the fact that the ingredients aren’t forthcoming in the product description, that always makes me suspicious. I’ve attached pictures that show the ingredients of both items.. This is an excellent dog paw care kit.

My dogs like the cleaner, barely tolerate the balm; both work well to heal dry, cracked paws
I like this paw care kit. I’ve tried quite a few creams and balms for my dog’s rough paws, but I haven’t tried any of the cleaning sprays or scrubs before. We have two dogs that do their best to resist having a balm applied, so I was surprised that they didn’t seem to mind the spray cleaner or the gentle scrubbing. It does seem pretty effective. I have to wait to use the balm until they are pretty much settled down for the night, otherwise getting some of it on either their noses or paws is quite hit or miss and they are trying to lick it off right away or just running around. I give each dog a nice massage and once they are relaxed, I spread just a tiny bit of the balm onto each paw and spend a minute or so rubbing it in and I have noticed that their paws started looking a lot better in just a day or two. I haven’t had the same luck with noses, as no amount of relaxation seems to keep them from immediately trying to get the balm off themselves and each other. For paws, the balm seems to stay on better or at least be absorbed better than some of the lotions and creams I have tried. This kit does seem a bit pricey for only two ounces of the balm, and five ounces of the wash, but I appreciate that the products are made in the USA. And they are effective, so even though we are going through both products pretty quickly, I think they are worth the cost. Of the two, I do like the balm the best.

like the balm, not the cleaners
maybe its a personal preference, but the scrubber its not it for me. i dont think it’s cleaning my dogs paws enough. it looks and feels a bit dirty still. so i would rather wash his paws by hand. but i do like the balm. makes his paws feel so smooth and soft.

irritant
i decided to purchase this combo for my english bulldog, bruno. after having much luck with the wrinkle wipes and cream i decided to give this a try for his red, itchy, irritated paws. the paw cleaner seems to bother him like a lot, to the point where he pulls away and tryâs to nip at your hand thatâs holding his paw(literally the sweetest dog ever and would never ever come close to biting you). the paw balm on the other hand has seemed to help him from licking his paws raw, just need to find a cleaner that doesnât irritate him, and due to the lack of grass in our backyard because of the trees i definitely want to find a good cleaner before i go and rub the balm on them.

Good scent and clean paws
I really liked that this product has a foaming bottle that also has a little brush that gets the job done. I have used this several times on my dogâs paws when she gets dirty from going potty and to be honest itâs been wonderful. Her paws smell great and they donât look yellow anymore from the dried pee on her white hair. I only used the balm when she is fully bathed and so far it has worked wonders because I have notice that her paws donât get as dry as before. This combo is a great addition to your pet care routine and the price is totally affordable. If you want to keep your dog clean but would like to avoid having to wash your dogâs paws every time they go outside this is for you! Definitely a must have for me.

Spa day for your pup
The foam paw cleaner is a need item in every dog household. With the winter weather – mud, water, ice salt, the foam cleaner makes it super duper easy to clean each paw quickly – who knew that much grime was hidden in her paws regularly? This was our first time trying the nose & paw balm and OMG! I placed the balm on my fingers to rub into her pads and it was so silky soft. Her paw pads were gleaming when I finished. The balm has a light scent – reminded me of baby products. My lips are so dry with winter and top braces – that I put some of the balm on my lips and it was SO moisturizing. I love that this contains Manuka honey. I’d give this more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend.
