The left paw in the picture is before, the right paw is after applying the paw balm. It very visibly hydrates my dog’s paw pads. It smells nice and seems to soak in quickly so it doesn’t get on the floors.

My dog somehow cracked her pad and my veterinarian recommended we try this and keep an eye on it. This worked like a charm. My dog is weird and doesn’t like it when I put it on her pads, but when I pull the container out, gets super excited.

However, beware – because you don’t want your dog to immediately jump up on your $400 bedding set as it will be ruined!Also, the packaging was a significant issue. The jar arrived unwrapped and without any leakage protection, which was a problem given the Florida heat. In the 97-degree weather, the balm melted and leaked out, creating quite a mess inside of my package. I had five other items in the same box, and half of the balm ended up all over them. Thankfully, those items were plastic-wrapped, so no permanent damage occurred, but it was still a major hassle to clean up.The product itself seems effective, but the lack of protective packaging during shipping really undermines its value. I suggest that the company consider shrink-wrapping the jars or at least placing them in a zip-lock bag to prevent leakage. Until then, I’d recommend caution, especially if you’re ordering this product in a hot climate.
